Abstract
Svrha ovog rada jest definirati pojmove autoriteta i moći, navesti elemente moći i načine efektivne i legitimne uporabe moći u svrhu postizanja ciljeva, te prikazati implikacije uporabe autoriteta na ponašanje pojedinca. Za pisanje rada korišteni su sekundarni podaci, odnosno izvori kao što su knjige, časopisi i internetski izvori. Podaci su prikupljeni iz različitih sekundarnih izvora koji se bave istom ili sličnom problematikom, odnosno tematikom menadžmenta općenito. U radu će sistematski biti obrazloženi i prikazani načini uspostave autoriteta unutar organizacije, stavke koje utječu na izgradnju autoriteta i moći u percepciji suradnika, a zaključno će se nastojati dokazati važnost legitimnog i etičkog načina korištenja moći kao elementa efektivnog vođenja suradnika u procesu postizanja optimalnih rezultata i ciljeva organizacije. Ovaj rad bi mogao biti koristan studentima ekonomskih fakulteta, menadžmenta i leadershipa, ali i menadžerima koji žele maksimalizirati svoj utjecaj i očvrsnuti svoj autoritet unutar organizacije.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this paper is to define concepts of authority and power, list the elements of power and ways of effective and legitimate usage of power with the objective of achieving goals, as well as show the implications of authority and it's effect on behavior of individuals. Secondary data, which includes books, magazines and internet sources, was used for writing this paper. Data was collected from secondary sources that write about the same topic, and the topic of management in general. This paper will systematically explain and show how to establish authority in the organisation, elements that influence the strength of authority and power in the perception of co-workers, while the importance and necessity of legitimate and ethical usage of power in organisations, as a means of achieving optimal results and goals, will be argumented later in research results, as well as in conclusion of the paper. This paper could be helpful to students of economics, management and leadership, as well as managers who wish to maximalize their influence and strengthen their authority in the organisation.
