Abstract
Pod pojmom menadžmenta smatramo vođenje ili rukovođenje nečime te usmjeravanje prema nekom cilju. Za dolazak i ostvarivanje cilja potrebne su odluke koje će rukovodeća osoba donijet. Te će odluke imati različite posljedice, ovisno o sposobnosti menadžera da u pravo vrijeme postupi i odluči ispravno. Razvojem i širenjem organizacije javlja se potreba za raščlambom menadžera na temelju njihovog rada te njihove odgovornosti koju snose. Razine menadžera razlikuju se i po odlukama koje donose te po vremenu koje im je potrebno za pojedinu odluku. Predmet ovog rada su razine menadžmenta te odluke koje pojedina razina menadžmenta donosi. Cilj je rada usporediti odnos razine menadžmenta i vremena potrebnog za donošenje odluke na pojedinoj razini. Nakon uvoda o menadžmentu, njegovim funkcijama, definirati će se temeljne razine menadžera u organizaciji. Nakon toga definiraju se tipovi odluka koje menadžeri donose, a zatim informacijski sustavi koji pomažu pojedinoj razini menadžera pri donošenju odluka. Kasnije se ispituje postavljena teze te se uspoređuju odnos razina menadžmenta i vremena odlučivanja. Pri samom kraju rada spominje se praktični dio rada te razine menadžmenta u nekim vodećim lancima prodaje namještaja, te će se nakon toga dati uvid u razine menadžmenta u turizmu i hotelijerstvu. Rad se završava zaključkom o postavljenoj tezi.
Abstract (english)
The term „management“ means to lead or manage something and routing them to the goal. Managing person needs to have right decisions in order to achieve the goal. These decisions can have variety of results depending on manager's ability to make a right decision just in right time. With development and expansion of organization the need to breakdown the managers appears, based on their work and responsibility they have. Differences with these manager levels are with decisions they are making and time need to make a decision. Subject of this paper is levels of management and decisions that each level is making. Aim of the paper is to compare relation between management levels and time needed to make a decision on each management level. After the intro about management and his functions, basic management levels in organization will be defined. After that, types of decisions as well as types of information systems which help managers with decision making will be explained. Later on, the ground thesis is going to be questioned and the management levels are being compared with time needed for decision making. At the end, practical part of the paper is mentioned as well as management levels in some of the most successful furniture business and after that the insight of the manager levels in tourism and hospitality is given. The paper ends with a conclusion based on given thesis.
