Abstract
U Republici Hrvatskoj, žensko poduzetništvo je još uvijek nedovoljno razvijeno iako se u posljednje vrijeme situacija promijenila. Prepoznaje se potencijal žena poduzetnica. Prilikom pokretanja poslovanja, žene se suočavaju s mnogim preprekama i njihov najveći problem je nerazumijevanje društvene okoline i nedostatak samopouzdanja. U tome im pomaže Mreža poslovnih žena čiji je cilj podizanje sposobnosti žena u stvaranju vizije, jačanju samopouzdanja i kreiranju uspješnog poslovanja. Svrha rada je opisati kako žene poduzetnice “preživljavaju” i uspijevaju održati poslovanje u neizvjesnoj i promjenjivoj okolini. Prethodna istraživanja pokazuju koliko su žene sve bliže muškarcima na razini poduzetničke aktivnosti, obrazovanja i kreativnosti. Žene imaju različite motive, prioritete, te donose i poduzimaju drugačija rješenja vezana za probleme u organizaciji i poslovne probleme, kao i za iskorištavanje novih poduzetničkih mogućnosti. Žensko poduzetništvo općenito obuhvaća mala i srednja poduzeća i mikro poduzeća u kojem je svega zaposleno nekoliko ljudi. Metode korištenja prilikom pisanja rada su deskriptivna metoda, metoda dedukcije te analiza. U izradi rada su korišteni sekundarni izvori informacija iz literature te primarni podaci dobiveni empirijskim istraživanjem uz pomoć intervjua. Na temelju istraživanja zaključeno je da su poduzetnice orijentirane na napredak i postizanju ciljeva, žele sve same postići služeći se i koristeći vlastitim sredstvima, postupcima i načinima. Najveća im je nagrada zadovoljstvo koje osjećaju nakon obavljenog posla, da su sami svoji gospodari, uspjeh vlastitim zaslugama i da mogu bolje i još više postići.
Abstract (english)
In the Republic of Croatia, female entrepreneurship is still underdeveloped, although the situation has changed recently. The potential of women entrepreneurs is recognized. When starting a business, women are faced with many obstacles and their biggest problem is the lack of understanding of the social environment and lack of confidence. In that context, Women's Business Network aims to raise women's ability to create visions, strengthen self-confidence and develop a successful business. The purpose of this paper is to describe how women entrepreneurs "survive" and struggle to manage the business in an uncertain and changing environment. Previous research show how women are getting closer to the men in terms of entrepreneurial activity, education and creativity. Female entrepreneurship generally involves small and medium-sized enterprises and micro-enterprises which employ only a few people. The methods applied in the study are descriptive method, deduction and analysis. In the paper, secondary sources of information from the literature were used and primary data obtained through empirical research in which interviews were used in data collection. Based on the research, it is concluded that the female entrepreneurs are focused on the progress and achievement of objectives and are very independent in achieving goals and overcoming challenges. The biggest prize for them is the satisfaction after the job is done, the feeling of internal locus of control and the awareness that they alone can accomplish a lot.
