Motivation is what keeps the wheels of civilization turning. When we’re properly motivated, there’s almost nothing we can’t do. When we need to visit distant celestial bodies to learn more about our place in the cosmos, for example, we motivate ourselves to build new technologies to reach them. If we think about the purpose of “doing business” in general. It’s all about exercising creativity and thoughtfulness to solve customers’ problems. It’s about providing products and services that make customers happy and turn a profit for the company while they’re doing it. This itself is a key source of motivation for the team: if they have a real-world understanding of how they’re touching and improving other people’s lives, they’ll work even harder and smarter, seeking out new solutions and generally improving the company’s efficiency. In this study, the aim was to carry out the synthesis of the obtained results by theoretical and empirical research of the manager leadership style styles on employees motivation to determine the influence in the mentioned relationship. Knowledge of managerial leadership styles and motivational theories is extremely large and extensive, based on which the theme of this research was chosen. The paper deals with theoretical starting points of leadership within which the concept of leadership and leader is defined and also the role of a good leader. Next, it shows the styles and leadership models. After that, theoretical aspects of motivation are discussed, which includes the conceptual determination of motivation and explanation of motivation theory. Motivation strategies and methods of measuring motivation are also presented. Empirical research, for the purpose of this paper, was conducted by surveying. The survey, which was made up in Google forms, respondents accessed via links that they received via e-mail or via messengers. Surveying hypothesis was examined to determine the dependence between the leadership style and the motivation of employees. A positive dependence has not been confirmed for each style type.
