The content of this paper covers four industrial revolutions, which are related to the innovations that emerged from that period. First of all, the meaning of the term "business model" is explained through the definitions of various experts. Through the description of the business canvas, it describes why it was important to graphically present the business model, and what was thus enabled. The primary goal of this paper was to define a disruptive business model, and to prove the existence of such business models as well as changes in business caused by the emergence of industrial revolutions. The first industrial revolution brought changes in the agricultural and processing-textile industries. By presenting changes in industry, disruptive changes in the observed industries are listed. The second industrial revolution brought the invention of the internal combustion engine, discoveries in oil refining and the discovery of electricity. The description of the business model in the automotive and oil industries shows the changes in business models that have caused strong disruptions in the observed markets. The third industrial revolution comes with changes in the manufacture of electronic devices, which find their application in many industries, leading to strong changes. The invention of the Internet will completely change the way we communicate. The fourth industrial revolution is actually a concept called "Industry 4.0" because it closely overlaps with the third industrial revolution, that is, the changes it brings are not revolutionary but resulted from the innovated processes of the previous period. Through the presentation of disruptive business models resulting from each of the revolutions, examples are given of companies that used new technology and their disruptive business models caused changes in established business patterns and business processes or led to the creation of completely new industries that quickly replace existing ones. This thesis presents changes in business processes, changes in the value of products for the customer, and the differences that make this business model disruptive.
