Abstract
Menadžerske funkcije važne su za sva poduzeća, kako ona manja tako s druge strane i ona veća. Završni rad „Zastupljenost i važnost menadžerskih funkcija u upravljanju poslovanjem poduzeća“ sistematizira teorijski okvir procesa upravljanja te kritički analizira relevantnu literaturu, pojmovna određenja stručnih termina, razlike između temeljnih menadžerskih funkcija, te kritički vrednuje povijesne i suvremene trendove u razvoju menadžmenta kao znanstvene discipline. Empirijski dio ovog rada istražuje kako su menadžerske funkcije percipirane u poslovnoj praksi koristeći kvalitativno istraživanje i primjer jednog poslovnog subjekta. Danas su funkcija menadžmenta vrlo kompleksne, a uz to se i brzo mijenjaju. Analizirajući poslovni slučaj došlo se do zaključka kako je moguće prepoznati neke trenutno prioritetne funkcije kao što su motiviranje i upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima. U radu se konstatira kako se kvalitetno upravljanje ljudskim resursima ne može provoditi bez uravnoteženja sa svim ostalim menadžerskim funkcijama, pa se stoga na primjeru poduzeća ukazuje na međusobnu povezanost menadžerskih funkcija. Ujedno, rad ukazuje i na važnost korištenja suvremenih menadžerskih alata u svrhu poboljšanja transparentnosti te učinkovitosti menadžera.
Abstract (english)
Managerial functions are important for all companies, both smaller and larger. The final paper „The Representativeness and Importance of Managerial Functions in Business Management“ systematizes the theoretical framework of the management process and critically analyzes the relevant literature, conceptual definitions of professional terms, differences between basic managerial functions, and critically evaluates historical and contemporary trends in the development of management as a scientific discipline. The empirical part of this paper explores how managerial functions are perceived in business practice using qualitative research and the example of one business entity. Nowadays, the functions of management are very complex, and in addition, they change rapidly. Analyzing the business case, it was concluded that it is possible to identify some currently priority functions; such as motivation and human resource management. The paper states that quality management of human resources cannot be carried out without balancing with all other managerial functions, and therefore the example of the company points to the interconnectedness of managerial functions. At the same time, the paper points out the importance of using modern management tools in order to improve the transparency and efficiency of managers.
