Abstract
Menadžment se definira kao proces rada s drugima i pomoću drugih na ostvarenju planiranih ciljeva poduzeća. Menadžer je osoba koja planira, organizira rad i poslovanje te vodi ljude. Njegova uloga u ostvarenju poslovne uspješnosti je iznimno visoka. Nužno je da menadžeri posjeduju vještine kako bi se uspješno suočili sa svim zadatcima i problemima na koje mogu naići u procesu poslovanja. Menadžerske vještine dijele se na osnovne i posebne. Različite razine menadžmenta zahtijevaju određene vještine te one variraju ovisno o razini. Postoje menadžerski kriteriji uspješnosti pomoću kojih se može vidjeti rade li menadžer i ostali zaposlenici dobro svoj posao. Ti kriteriji su efektivnost, efikasnost i produktivnost. Glavni pokazatelj poslovne uspješnosti je ostvarenje planiranih ciljeva i u konačnici ostvarenje profiti. Suvremeni menadžment je pun novih izazova i zadaća pa tako menadžeri moraju biti spremni na kontinuirano učenje i razvijanje menadžerskih vještina. Menadžeri u budućnosti morat će veću pozornost obratiti na toleranciju, tehnologiju, nove metode poslovanje, otvorenost prema svim kulturama i dr. Cilj i svrha završnog rada je navesti i objasniti ulogu menadžerskih vještina i njihovu ulogu u povećanju poslovne uspješnosti. U empirijskom istraživanju provedenom u završnom radu prikazana je percepcija studenata 3. godine preddiplomskog sveučilišnog studija Ekonomskog fakulteta u Osijeku o važnosti pojedinih menadžerskih vještina. Također, u istraživanju prikazat će se mišljenje studenata o tome koje su vještine najbitnije za poslovni uspjeh, u kojoj mjeri oni posjeduju te vještine i otvara li se dovoljno mogućnosti za stjecanje i razvijanje vještina tijekom studiranja.
Abstract (english)
Management is defined as a process of working with others and helping others to achieve the planned goals for the company. The manager is a person who plans, organizes work and business, hires and leads people. Their role in achieving business success is extremely high. It is essential that managers possess the skills to successfully cope with all the tasks and problems they may encounter in the business process. Management skills are divided into basic and special. Different levels of management require certain skills and they vary depending on the level. There are management performance criteria that can be used to see if a manager and other employees are doing their job well. These criteria include effectiveness, efficiency and productivity. The main indicator of business success is the achievement of planned goals and ultimately the profit itself. Modern management is full of new challenges and tasks, so managers must be ready for continuous learning and development of management skills. Managers in the future will have to pay more attention to tolerance, technology, new business methods, openness to all cultures, etc. The empirical research conducted in the final paper shows the perception of 3rd year undergraduate university students at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek . Also, the research will show the opinion of students about which skills are most important for business success, to what extent they possess these skills and whether there are enough opportunities to acquire and develop skills during their studies.
