Abstract
Svaka se organizacija sastoji od tima ljudi koji zajednički nastoje riješiti problem te doći do krajnjeg cilja, stoga je nužno imati osobu koja će delegirati zadatke, nadgledati njihovo izvršenje te voditi tim. Potrebno je, dakle, odrediti vođu koji će biti odgovoran za učinke cijelog tima. Kako bi bio uspješan u svom poslu, odnosno upravljanju timom, važno je da vođa posjeduje određena znanja, vještine i iskustvo koji će mu pomoći u izvršenju njegovih dužnosti. U svrhu određivanja karakteristika koje odlikuju vođu tima važno je analizirati koji su to izazovi s kojima se on najčešće susreće. Definiranjem osnovnih pojmova vezanih uz menadžere te njegove vještine i funkcije objašnjava se njihov utjecaj i zastupljenost u timovima koji mogu biti različiti s obzirom na specifičnost zadatka kojim se bave te prema karakteristikama. Analizom učestalosti korištenja pojedinih menadžerskih funkcija kod ispitanika na operativnoj razini menadžmenta objašnjava se zastupljenost spomenutih funkcija te uloga vođe u upravljanju timom kao i primjena menadžerskih vještina u cilju stvaranja što boljih rezultata. Usporedbom podataka dobivenih od različitih ispitanika bit će izveden zaključak o glavnim menadžerskim funkcijama u upravljanju timom te će biti navedene funkcije i aktivnosti čijim bi se intenzivnijem korištenjem, ukoliko bi to bilo moguće na ovoj razini menadžmenta, došlo do efektivnijeg i produktivnijeg upravljanja timom. Korištenjem resursa kojim raspolažu, menadžeri nastoje na brži, produktivniji i uspješniji način doći do cilja te pri tome koriste znanja koja su stekli obrazovanjem, a iskustvo im pomaže u odluci o tome koje su to funkcije koje će intenzivnije koristiti u pojedinim fazama upravljanja timom.
Abstract (english)
Every organization consists of team of people who cooperatively strive to solve the problem and achieve a goal, therefore it is necessary to have a manager who will delegate tasks, supervise their execution and manage a team. It is necessary to choose a team manager who will be responsible for the performance of the whole team. To be successful in team management, it is essential for a team manager to possess certain knowledge, skills and experience that will aid in performing duties. In order to determine the characteristics attributed to the team manager, it is important to analyze the challenges manager encounters most frequently. Defining the elementary terms in relation to manager's skills and functions helps in understanding their influence and role in teams which can be diverse considering the team task specificities. Analyzing how frequently each management function is used at the operational management level describes the representation of the said functions, manager's role in team managing and the use of management skills with the goal of getting the best possible results. The conclusion about the most represented management functions in team management will be deduced by comparing the data acquired from different examinees. Furthermore, the functions whose more intensive usage would result in more effective and more productive team managing (presuming it is possible at this management's level) will be mentioned. By using the resources they have access to, managers strive to successfully reach the goal. While doing so, they apply the knowledge attained by education and their experience helps them decide which functions should be used more intensively in each stage of team management.
