Abstract
U radu je istraživanje usmjereno na današnji fenomen globalizacije koja je zadnjih stoljeća promijenila ekonomiju. Nastankom same globalizacije promijenilo se i poslovanje i nastali su novi pojmovi te gledišta kako poslovno djelovati. Nastala je ekonomska globalizacija koja je omogućila nesmetani tok kapitala i kroz određene učinke prelijeva uključivanje malih zemalja, gotovo nesmetano u veliku međunarodnu trgovinsku utakmicu. Nastankom globalizacije nastala su i izravna strana ulaganja koja su značajan pokretač razvoja i to na više načina: kroz kapitalne priljeve kojima se jačaju nacionalni sustav, transfere tehnologije čime se podiže utjecaj na inovativnost cijele nacije kroz povećanje zaposlenosti i ostale značajne utjecaje. Ovaj rad će pokušati doprinijeti upravo izučavanju ekonomskih učinaka izravnih stranih ulaganja u zemlje iz dostupne literature, a posebice sa aspekta malih zemalja poput Republike Hrvatske.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis, the research is focused on current phenomenon of globalization that has changed the economy in last century. The occurrence of the same globalization changed business and the resulting new concepts and viewpoints to the business function. It has created the economic globalization which has enabled the smooth flow of capital and through certain effects flowing inclusion of small countries, almost unhindered in large international trade game. The emergence of globalization formed foreign direct investments that are an important engine of growth and that in several ways: through capital inflows aimed at strengthening the national system, the transfer of technology which increases the impact on innovation of the entire nation through increased employment and other significant impacts. This thesis will try to contribute to precisely study the economic impact of foreign direct investment into the country from the available literature, especially in terms of small countries such as the Republic of Croatian.
