Abstract
Ovim radom prikazala se pojmovna razlika između potencijala i resursa. Potencijal možemo prikazati kao mogućnost koja se pretpostavlja, sposobnost razvoja, dok su resursi konkretniji elementi namijenjeni stvaranju dobara i usluga, kao što su prirodna dobra slobodno dostupna iz prirode, kapitalna sredstva i ljudski rad. Pretpostavljeno je da razvoj turizma u odabranim regijama Istri i Baranji nije moguć samo uz temeljna tri elementa ukoliko ne postoji ključna karika – poduzetništvo. Poduzetnički duh granica je između potencijala i resursa koje regije moraju implementirati u viziju regionalnog turističkog razvoja kako bi postale konkurentne. Potencijali su svuda oko nas; kapitalna sredstva se mogu pribaviti na razne načine, ljudski rad se unaprjeđuje i razvija, prirodna dobra su već dostupna iz okruženja, no poduzetnički duh će „odlučiti“ o tome kada će potencijal postati resurs te dodati vrijednost regiji kako bi ostvarila turističku konkurentsku prednost.
Abstract (english)
This final paper shows the difference between potentials and resources. Potential could be seen as an opportunity that we assume, ability to develop, but on the other side, resources are much more concrete elements which are meant for creating goods and services, such as natural resources available freely from the nature, capital resources and human labour. It is assumed that the development of tourism in selected regions of Istria and Baranja is possible only with the basic three elements if there is a key link - entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurial spirit is the boundary between the potentials and resources that these regions must implement into the vision for regional tourism development to become more competitive. Potentials are all around us; capital resources can be acquired in all sorts of ways, human labour is being improved and developed, natural resources are already available in the regions, but the entrepreneurial spirit will decide on when the potential to become a resource and add value to the region in order to achieve the tourism competitive advantage.
