Abstract
Županije u kontinentalnoj Hrvatskoj se okreću ka razvoju gospodarstva na temelju industrija za koje imaju najviše prirodnih resursa, kao što je na primjer razvoj drvne industrije i poljoprivrede. Razvojem svoje prepoznatljivosti u Hrvatskoj i svijetu, kontinentalne županije postižu konkurentnost u Hrvatskoj i svijetu i to potiče njihov gospodarski razvoj. Bjelovarsko-bilogorska županija svoj gospodarski razvoj ostvaruje unapređenjem tehnologije proizvodnje proizvoda i usluga kojima ta županija može najbolje konkurirati drugim Županijama, odnosno drugim proizvođačima u Hrvatskoj i svijetu. Županija je dosegnula visoku prepoznatljivost, ali se njen gospodarski razvoj treba dodatno poticati te se treba poraditi na promociji Županije kako bi ona dobila na svom značaju i tako privukla investitore.
Abstract (english)
Counties in the continental part of Croatia turned to the development of the economy on the basis of the industry for which they have the most natural resources, such as for example the development of the wood industry and agriculture. Continental county the in Croatia is achieving in their recognition in Croatia and the world, what leads to higher competitiveness of continental counties, like Bjelovarsko-bilogorska county. This is how this county realizes the development of its economy. The economic development of Bjelovarsko-bilogorska counties achieved by improving the technology of production of products and services which the county can best compete with other Counties, or other producers in Croatia and the world. The County has reached a high brand recognition, but there should be more boost of economic development and there must be better promotion of the County so that it can get on its significance and to attract investors that way.
