Abstract
Cilj diplomskog rada je analizirati ulogu i značenje izravnih stranih ulaganja (eng. foreign direct investment – FDI) na zemlje primateljice i davateljice takvih ulaganja. U ekonomskim procesima, izravna strana ulaganja imaju važnu ulogu u poticanju gospodarskog rasta i razvoja, predstavljaju velik izvor kapitala i nematerijalnih resursa kao što su tehnologije, marketing, organizacijska rješenja, tehničko-tehnoloških kapaciteta, R&D, know-how i dr., koji pomažu u poboljšanju poslovanja. Izvoz je najbolji način za početak poslovanja na inozemnom tržištu jer se na taj način stječu potrebna znanja i iskustva. Pojavom izravnih stranih ulaganja pojavila su se i mnoga teorijska objašnjenja njihovih uzroka i posljedica. Izravna strana ulaganja od velikog su značaja za svaku zemlju, te je potrebno znati koje efekte ostvaruju u međunarodnim ekonomskim odnosima i tokovima, kao i njihov značaj za pojedine zemlje i njihov gospodarski sustav. U ovom diplomskom radu će se uz teorijski dio o izravnim stranim ulaganjima prikazati i na praktičnom dijelu analiza iskustva CEE zemalja EU.
Abstract (english)
The goal of the thesis is to analyze the role and significance of foreign direct investment (FDI) in recipient countries and providers of such investments. In the economic processes, FDI has an important role to play in boosting economic growth and development, representing a large source of capital and intangible resources such as technology, marketing, organizational solutions, technical-technological capabilities, R & D, know-how and more, and all that in improving business. Exports are the best way to start a business in the overseas market because they acquire the necessary knowledge and experience. With the appearance of FDI, many theoretical explanations of their causes and consequences have emerged. So foreign direct investment is of great importance to each country, and you need to know what effects in foreign trade are causing. In this graduate thesis, the theoretical part of FDI will be presented in the practical part of the analysis of the experience of CEE countries in the EU.
