Abstract | Uspješni poslovni pothvat čine tri elementa, a to su: poslovna prilika, resursi i tim. Prilika označava skup okolonosti koje omogućuju pretvaranje ideje u poslovni pothvat. Za ulazak na ciljno tržište, prozor prilika treba biti otvorena. Ona predstavlja vremenski period u kojem poduzeće može ući na tržište. No, za uspješan poslovni pothvat važan je i sam poduzetnik, odnosno njegove vještine, znanja i sposobnosti. Karakteristike uspješnog poduzetnika su: fokus na proizvod/uslugu, ustrajnost i inteligencija provedbe.
Osim pokretanja poslovnog pothvata, poduzenik na tržište može ući kupovinom postojećeg poduzeća ili kupovinom franšize. Bez obzira na način ulaska u „svijet poduzetništva“, svaki poduzetnik/poduzetnički pothvat prolazi kroz poduzetnički proces.
Faze poduzetničkog procesa su: odluka da postane poduzetnik, razvijanje uspješne poslovne ideje, od ideje do poslovnog pothvata i upravljanje i rast poslovnog pothvata.
U prvoj fazi su navedeni razlozi postajanja poduzetnikom poput ostvarivanja vlastite ideje, ostvarivanja financijske dobiti te da bude svoj šef. Razvijanje poslovne ideje se bavi prepozavanjem prave prilike i djelatnosti kojom se želi baviti. Provodi se analiza izvodivosti kako bi se odredilo da se ideja može pretvoriti u poslovni pothvat. Piše se poslovni plan u kojemu su definirani ciljevi i strategije za ostvarivanje pothvata. Analizira se privredna grana i razvija efikasan poslovni model. U trećoj fazi se razvija pravna i etička osnova gdje se navodi kodeks ponašanja te bira pravni oblik poduzeća. Zatim se provjerava financijsko stanje poduzeća te mogu li podmiriti svoje obaveze. Stvaranje tima koji će svojim radom dovesti do uspjeha poduzeća. Četvrta faza se bavi strategijama rasta poduzeća, odabirom tržišta i marketing pitanjima. Svaka od navedenih faza može biti presudna za poslovanje novog poslovnog pothvata, te je uloga konzultanta izbjeći najčešće zamke svake od pojedinih faza.
Konzultant pomaže klijentu u prepoznavanju prilika, definiranju ciljeva, donošenju odluka, ukazuje na probleme u organizaciji, potiče na učenje i slično. Konzultant također prikuplja podatke o poduzeću, analizira ih i postavlja dijagnozu
Problemi tvrtke se mogu rješavati intervencijama poput prihvaćanja, katalitička intervencija, konfrontacija, preporučena intervencija te teorija načela i principa. Svaka od njih je opisana u konzultantskoj kocki. U identifikaciji i rješavanju problema iznimno je važno pravilno pristupiti problemu. Jedan od najvažnijih alata, kojima se svaki konzultant treba služiti je tzv.

Abstract (english) | A successful business venture is comprised of three elements: a business opportunity, resources and a team. An opportunity indicates a set of circumstances that enables ideas to transform into a business venture. To enter target market, a window of opportunity needs to be open. It represents a time period in which a company can enter market. But, for the successful business venture is also an etnrepreneur himself, his skills, knowledge and qualities. Characteristics of a successful entrepreneur are focus on the product/service, persistence and intelligence of the implementation.
Other than starting a business venture, entrepreneur can enter market with a purchase of an existing company or a franchise. Regardless of how to enter the „world of entrepreneurship“, every entrepreneur/entrepreneurial venture goes through an entrepreneurial process.
Phases of a business venture are: the decision of becoming an entrepreneur, the development of a successful business idea, from idea to business venture and managing and growth of business venture.
The reasons for becoming an entrepreneur are listed in phase one, such as realizing the idea, making financial profit and being one’s own boss. The development of business idea is about recognizing a real opportunity and desired field of work. The analysis of feasibility is taken to determine whether the idea can be made into a business venture. A business plan, in which goals and strategies for accomplishing the venture are defined, is written. Economic branch is analyzed and efficient business model is developed. In phase three, legal and ethical basis is developed, where behavior codex is presented and legal model of the company is chosen. After that, financial state of the company is verified, whether the company can pay their financial responsibilities. A team whose work will bring success to the company is created. Phase four deals in strategies for company growth, market choices and marketing. Each of the above mentioned phases can be crucial for the operation of a new business venture, and the role of consultant is to avoid the most common traps of each phase.
The consultant helps his client recognise the opportunity, define the goals, make decisions, find organisational problems, encourage learning etc. The consultant also collects data about the company, makes an analysis and diagnoses. Problems within the company can be solved in interventions such as acceptance, catalytic intervention, confrontation, recommended intervention and theory of principles. In identifying and solving problems, it is very important to properly address the problem. One of the most important tools that each consultant needs to use is the so-called consultancy cube.
