Abstract | Riječ multimedija ima više značenja i interpretacija no kao glavna karakteristika koja se spominje u gotovo svim definicijama, ističe se primanje i procesuiranje informacija putem više osjetila, pri čemu se koriste različiti mediji. Kao glavni elementi multimedije izdvajaju se tekst, zvuk, grafika, video i animacija. Učenje pomoću multimedije vrlo je učinkovito jer su multimedijski sadržaji oblikovani tako da budu zanimljivi i pristupačni učenicima. Multimedijska prezentacija sadržaja povećava sposobnost čovjeka da primi nove informacije, te se samim time povećava kvaliteta i brzina učenja. U obrazovanju multimedija predstavlja dopunu i nadomjestak udžbenika, omogućuje povezivanje audio-vizualnog sadržaja s tekstom, interaktivnost i individualni pristup (učenik može učiti na svoj način), pomicanje granica tradicionalnih metoda učenja te nadopunu procesa učenja obogaćenim sadržajima.
Učenje je danas prešlo u neku novu dimenziju, više nije nužno biti u učionici i zajedno s ostatkom razreda slušati što učitelj/nastavnik ima za reći. Danas je omogućeno učenje od kuće, ali i „u pokretu“, kroz brojne mobilne aplikacije koje se u potpunosti prilagođavaju korisniku i njegovom tempu učenja. Svakim danom sve je više online platformi za učenje putem kojih korisnik može slušati predavanja iz raznih krajeva svijeta, ovisno o temi ga zanima. Neke platforme nude plaćeni certifikat koji ima određenu težinu i vrijednost, dok druge platforme nakon odslušanog tečaja izdaju potvrdu o sudjelovanju.
Izbor je raznolik, na pojedincu je da odabere ono što mu najbolje odgovara. Naposljetku, ako se u nešto isplati ulagati, to je onda znanje. Stalno i neprestano učiti i težiti ka boljemu, to je smisao usavršavanja i rada na sebi. |

Parallel abstract (English) | The word multimedia has multiple meanings and interpretations but as the main feature that is mentioned in almost all definitions is receiving and processing information through multiple senses, using different media. The main multimedia elements are text, sound, graphics, video, and animation. Learning using multimedia is very efficient because multimedia content is designed to be interesting and accessible to students. Multimedia presentation of content increases the ability of person to receive the new information, and thus increases the quality and speed of learning. Multimedia in education represents a complement and substitute textbooks, allows to link audio-visual content with text, interactivity and individual approach (the student can learn in his own way), move the borders of traditional methods of learning, and update the process of learning enriched content.
Today, learning is crossed into a new dimension, no longer is necessarily to be in the classroom and, together with the rest of the class to listen what the teacher/educator has to say. Today is enabled learning from home, but also "to go", through many mobile applications that fully adapt to the user and on his pace of learning. Every day there are more and more online platforms for learning through which the user can listen to lectures from various parts of the world, depending on the topic he's interested in. Some platforms offer a paid certificate that has a certain weight and value, while other platforms offer a certificate of participation after the course.
The choice is varied, and on the individual is to choose what fits best to him. Finally, if in something is worthwhile to invest, it is knowledge. Constantly and continually learn and strive towards to get better, that's the purpose of education and work on yourself. |
