Abstract
Uobičajena podjela tržišta dobara je podjela na savršenu konkurenciju, monopol, monopolističku konkurenciju i oligopol. Svaka od navedenih tržišnih struktura ima svoja obilježja i karakteristike po kojima se razlikuje. Dvije krajnosti, odnosno suprotnosti predstavljaju savršena konkurencija i monopol. Svaka od njih ima suprotna obilježja one druge strukture. Savršena konkurencija ima velik broj ponuđača koji nemaju mogućnost određivanja cijene, nego preuzimaju onu koju odredi tržište. Stupanj konkurencije u ovoj tržišnoj strukturi je velik, a ulazak u nju i izlazak iz nje je vrlo jednostavan. Monopol je tržišna struktura koja ima samo jednog ponuđača koji ujedno i određuje cijenu proizvoda. Ulazak u granu drugim poduzećima nije moguć jer ne mogu profitirati uz toliko niske troškove kao monopolist. Stupanj konkurencije u ovoj tržišnoj strukturi je mali. Ostale tržišne strukture, poput monopolističke konkurencije i oligopola poprimaju karakteristike i savršene konkurencije i monopola. Na taj način stvaraju vlastita obilježja. Svaki poduzetnik pri biranju vlasitite djelatnosti mora dobro proučiti tržište i njegove karakteristike kako bi donio dobre odluke. Netko želi riskirati kao monopolist i imati veliku zaradu, dok drugi žele nastupiti sigurnije, kao savršeni konkurent. Na taj način imaju manju zaradu, ali ona je sigurna. Iz perspektive kupca, najisplativija opcija je tržište savršene konkurencije jer imaju najveći izbor i jednake cijene kod svih ponuđača.
Abstract (english)
A common classification of the goods market shows four main structures - perfect competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition and oligopoly. Each of these market structures has its own features and characteristics that set it apart. The two extremes and opposites are the perfect competition and monopoly. Each of them has the opposite characteristics of the other structures. Perfect competition has a large number of bidders who do not have pricing options, but taking the one designated by the market. In this market structure competition is huge, and entry into it and getting out is very simple. Monopoly is a market structure that has only one bidder, which also determines the price of the product. The entry of other companies in the industry is not possible because they cannot make a profit with such low cost as a monopolist. The competition in this market structure is small. Other market structures, such as monopolistic competition and oligopoly, have characteristics of perfect competition and monopoly. Every entrepreneur has chance to choose his own job. During the choosing he need to carefully explore the market and its characteristics. Somebody wants to take a risk like monopolist and have a huge profit. The others want to have small, but sure profit, like perfect competitor. From the buyer point of view, the most profitable option is perfect competition market. On that market buyer has the biggest choice of suppliers and same prices at all of them.
