Abstract
U radu su teoretski objašnjeni pojmovi vezani uz lean sistem proizvodnje. Opisana je povijest razvoja lean proizvodnje, kao i poveznica s masovnom proizvodnjom. U poglavljima rješenja istraživanja i rasprava su kao primjer uzete hrvatska prerađivačka industrija. Na primjeru hrvatske prerađivačke industrije testirane su tri hipoteze: veća poduzeća imaju veću razinu korištenja lean koncepta, razina upotrebe leana je veća u diskretnoj industriji i poduzeća s većom razinom leana imaju bolje poslovne rezultate. Prva i treća hipoteza su potvrđene. Napravljena je usporedba japanske automobilske industrije s predvodnikom Toyotom s zapadnim zemljama. Mnogo komponenti čine lean, a posebnu važnost imaju zaposlenici koji trebaju pratiti procese i predlagati ideje.
Abstract (english)
This Master thesis theoretically explains consepts of lean manufacturing system. Thus, the history of development of lean manufacturing as well as mass prduction was also defined. In the chapters of research solutions and discussion as an example served Croatian companies form the specter of manufacturing industry. On those companies,there were three hypotheses conducted: bigger companies have a higher level of using lean manufacturing, the level of usaga of lean manufacturing ih higher in discrete industry and companies with higher levels of lean usage have better business results. Firs and third hypotheses were confirmed. There was also conducted a comparison of Japan car industry with Toyota as market leade in Western counties. Many components are making lean manufacturing and the most important key one are employees which have to keep up with the processes and propose ideas.
