Abstract
Vrijednosni papiri ili skraćeno vrijednosnice jedan su od najčešćih načina financiranja ili ulaganja u modernoj ekonomiji. Oni predstavljaju financijske dokumente kojima se trguje na tržištima novca i kapitala. U praksi se vrijednosnice razlikuju prema nekoliko kriterija, a najviše se koristi podjela na vlasničke i dužničke vrijednosne papire te na kratkoročne i dugoročne. Trezorski zapisi su vrijednosnice koje izdaje država. Njihov rok dospijeća je kraći od godinu dana, zbog čega se uvrštavaju u kratkoročne vrijednosne papire. Trezorski zapisi su dužnički vrijednosni papiri kojima je temeljna svrha održavanje likvidnosti. U praksi se oni smatraju gotovo nerizičnim instrumentom jer donose gotovo siguran prinos. Vlasnik trezorskog zapisa ima pravo na isplatu glavnice koja se uvećava za kamatnu stopu. S druge strane, izdavatelj istog (država) obvezan je isplatiti vlasniku glavnicu i kamate. U Republici Hrvatskoj za izdavanje trezorskih zapisa zaduženo je Ministarstvo financija. Spomenuto Ministarstvo redovno izdaje trezorske zapise koji se prodaju putem aukcija. U ovom radu prikazuje se analiza rezultata aukcija trezorskih zapisa u Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od 2012. do 2017.godine.
Abstract (english)
Securities are one of the most common ways of financing or investing in a modern economy. They represent financial documents traded on money and capital markets. In practice, securities differ according to several criteria, and the most commonly used are classifications of equity and debt securities and short-term and long-term securities. Treasury notes are securities issued by the state. Their due date is shorter than one year, which is why they are included in short-term securities. Treasury notes are debt securities that are the fundamental purpose of maintaining liquidity. In practice, they are considered almost risk-free instrument because they bring almost secure yield. The holder of a treasury notes is entitled to a principal payment which is increased for the interest rate. On the other hand, the issuer of the same (state) is obliged to pay to the owner equity and interest. The Ministry of Finance is in charge of issuing treasury notes in the Republic of Croatia. The mentioned ministry regularly issues treasury notes which are sold through auctions. This paper presents the analysis of the auction results of the treasury notes in the Republic of Croatia in the period from 2012. to 2017.
