In this final paper, the business of Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. in the period from 2014. to 2017. It analyzes the movement of total assets, the structure of bank's assets, the share of bank's assets in total banking assets and the financial result of the bank's business through the research period. As an introduction to the topic, deposit and non-deposit credit institutions are explained, their role and significance. The most popular deposit credit institutions are banks, so the paper also contains a theory explaining the functions and types of banks, business objectives and types of banking. Prior to the business survey of the selected bank, its profile was analyzed and the vision, mission, objectives and strategies of its operations, as well as the subject matter of business and share capital were determined. Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. is at the very top of Croatian banking with a long continuity of banking business. Their mission is to use all available resources permanently and efficiently to continually improve their business in all its parts, from human capital, technology to business processes.
