Abstract
Prije svega, uspješnost poslovnog sustava ovisi o odgovarajućem informacijskom sustavu koji je podržan najsuvremenijom informatičkom tehnologijom. Dakle, taj sustav koristi podatke iz raznih izvora, vanjskih ili unutarnjih, koje prikuplja informacijski sustav. Karakteristika je da poslovni informacijski sustav pomaže procesu odlučivanja na način da pomaže menadžerima u donošenju odluka opskrbljujući ih potrebnim informacijama. On je vrlo složen sustav koji ima niz funkcija. Poznato je da samom pojavom globalizacije, poslovna komunikacija koja se nalazi u razmjerno kratkom vremenskom periodu, unutar i izvan organizacije doživljava velike promjene. Globalno društvo je pojavom informacijskih i informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija promijenilo način poslovanja, komuniciranja na daljinu te razvilo nove medije u kojima su integrirani stari mediji. Prema tome, pod pojmom informacijskog sustava podrazumijeva se onaj dio stvarnoga (realnog, konkretnog) sustava koji služi transformaciji ulaznih u izlazne informacije. Poslovnim sustavom naziva se organizacijski sustav kojeg opisuje skup informacija o prošlosti i sadašnjosti i poslovnih procesa koji ih obrađuju. Informacijski sustav koji podržava složeni poslovni sustav sastoji se od niza informacijskih podsustava, a svaki od njih može se smatrati elementarnim informacijskim sustavom. (Panian, 2005.)
Abstract (english)
The business system, to be successful, must have an appropriate information system supported by state-of-the-art information technology. It uses data from various sources, external or internal, that collects the information system. The business information system helps the decision-making process by helping decision-makers make decisions by supplying them with the information they need. It is a very complex system that has a number of functions. With the emergence of globalization, business communication has been experiencing major changes within and outside the organization for a relatively short period of time. Through the emergence of information and information-communication technologies, global society has changed its way of doing business, communicating remotely and developing new media in which the old media are integrated. In the elementary definition under the concept of information system is meant that part of the real (realistic, concrete) system that serves the transformation of inputs into output information. The business system is called an organizational system that describes a set of information about the past and the present and the business processes that handle them. The information system supporting the complex business system consists of a series of information subsystems, each of which can be considered an elementary information system.
