Abstract
Monopol (engl. monopoly, njem. Monopol) znači isključivo pravo, potpuno prisvajanje. Situacija gdje jedno poduzeće ili grupa njih ima moć nad tržištem. Monopol se u ekonomiji definira kao trajna tržišna situacija gdje postoji samo jedan davatelj određene vrste proizvoda ili usluga. Osobina monopola je nedostatak privredne konkurencije za robu ili uslugu koja se nudi i nedostatak prihvatljive zamjenske robe. Cilj ovoga rada je teorijski obraditi pojmove monopolske moći odnosno monopola i njihove vrste, te detaljnije definirati ponašanje poduzeća u uvjetima monopola.
Abstract (english)
Monopoly (Monopoly) means exclusive right, full appropriation. The situation where one company or group of them has the power over the market. Monopoly in the economy is defined as a permanent market situation where there is only one provider of a particular product type or service. The property of a monopoly is the lack of economic competition for goods or services that are it also offers the lack of acceptable substitute goods. The aim of this labor is to theoretically elaborate the concepts of monopoly power, ie monopoly and their species, and to define more in detail the behavior of a company in terms of monopoly.
