Abstract
Glavni cilj ovog rada je informirati o turističkim potencijalima hrvatskog turizma kroz promatranje hotelskog poslovanja. Definirati će se osnovni pojmovi turizma i hotela, bit će navedene značajke i doprinos hotelskog turizma te zašto je izgradnja i unapređenje hotela sve traženija turistička želja. Turizam u Republici Hrvatskoj svaku godinu bilježi sve veći rast prihoda i dolazaka kako stranih tako i domaćih turista. Hotelska ponuda je važan segment cjelokupnog turističkog rezultata te je jedan od vodećih oblika smještaja i njegova popularnost raste svake godine jer mnogi strani i domaći investitori rade na unapređenju potpunog turističkog doživljaja. Analizom i obradom prikazani su aktualni podaci o dolascima turista kroz protekle dvije do tri godine te je očito da se broj istih povećava. Ne raste samo broj dolazaka na moru nego raste i broj dolazaka turista u kontinentalnoj Hrvatskoj pogotovo u Zagrebu. Ovi podaci potvrđuju činjenicu da se Republika Hrvatska etablirala i dokazala kao jedna od najboljih turističkih destinacija. Najveći dokaz ove činjenice je prihod u devizama gdje Hrvatska prednjači ispred ostalih popularnih destinacija u Europi. Važnost hotelskog turizma je postala sve veća sa vremenom, a to se može vidjeti iz trenutne i ponude iz prošlosti kada je bilo daleko manje hotela sa četiri ili pet zvjezdica .
Abstract (english)
The main objective of this paper is to inform about tourist potentials of Croatian tourism through the observation of hotel business. The basic concepts of tourism and hotels will be defined, the features and contribution of hotel tourism will be mentioned and why building and improving the hotel is an increasingly sought after tourist wish. Tourism in the Republic of Croatia has recorded growing revenue and arrivals for both foreign and domestic tourists each year. The hotel offer is an important segment of the overall tourist achievement and is one of the leading forms of accommodation and its popularity grows every year because many foreign and domestic investors are working to improve the overall tourist experience. Analysis and processing show current tourist arrivals information over the past two to three years, and it is obvious that the number increases. Only the number of arrivals at sea is increasing, as is the number of arrivals of tourists in continental Croatia, especially in Zagreb. These data confirm the fact that the Republic of Croatia has established and proved to be one of the best tourist destinations. The biggest proof of this fact is revenue in foreign currency where Croatia is ahead in front of other popular destinations in Europe. The importance of hotel tourism has become ever greater with time, and this can be seen from current and past offers when it was far fewer four or five star hotels
