Abstract
Svrha ovog rada je objasniti važnost informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija (ICT) u današnjem poslovnom okruženju, predstaviti njihove razvojne tendencije i objasniti kako to utječe na menadžment i njegove funkcije. ICT snažno utječe na promjenu ekonomske strukture nacionalnih i cjelokupnog međunarodnog gospodarskog sustava. ICT možemo definirati kao korištenje računala i ostale elektroničke opreme i sustava za prikupljanje, pohranjivanje, upotrebljavanje i slanje podataka elektroničkim putem. Nova ekonomija jest ekonomija zasnovana na znanju i idejama o tome gdje je ključ poboljšanja životnog standarda i stvaranja novih radnih mjesta u mjeri u kojoj se inovativne ideje i tehnološke promjene uključuju u proizvode, usluge i proizvodne procese. Tvrtka Ericsson je 2016. g. predstavila pet ključnih trendova koji oblikuju inovaciju u ICT sektoru: širenje inteligencije kroz oblak; samoupravljajući uređaji; komunikacija izvan slike i zvuka; temeljne tehnologije preoblikuju ono što mreže mogu učiniti; implementacija sigurnosti i privatnosti u IoT. Izvješće o mjerenju informacijskog društva Međunarodne telekomunikacijske unije predstavilo je četiri razvojna trenda ICT-a: Internet stvari, računalstvo u oblaku, „Big data“ analitika i umjetna inteligencija. ICT se koristi i kako bi se ostvarili ciljevi održivog razvoja. Postoje pozitivni primjeri korištenja ICT-a u poslovnoj praksi, a to su tvrtke poput PatientsLikeMe, Airbnb, Ayla Networks i Salesforce. Korištenjem ICT-a u poslovanju došlo je i do stvaranja poslovnog informacijskog sustava, odnosno informacijskog sustava koji osigurava podatke i informacije za potrebe poslovanja. On upravlja tijekom podataka i informacija od mjesta njihova nastanka do korisnika. U modernom menadžmentu došlo je i do pojave određenih novih funkcija, poput funkcija CIO i CTO.
Abstract (english)
The purpose of this paper is to explain the importance of information and communications technology (ICT) in today's business environment, to present their development tendencies and to explain how they influence management and its functions. ICT strongly influences the change of the economic structure of the national and global economic system. ICT can be defined as the use of computers and other electronic equipment and systems for collecting, storing, using and sending data electronically. The New economy is a knowledge- and ideas based economy on what is the key to improved living standards and new jobs where innovative ideas and technological changes are involved in products, services, and manufacturing processes. In 2016, Ericsson presented five key trends that shape innovation in the ICT sector: spreading intelligence throughout the cloud; self-managing devices; communication beyond sight and sound; fundamental technologies reshaping what networks can do; weaving security and privacy into the IoT fabric. Measuring the Information Society Report by the International Telecommunications Union presented four ICT development trends: Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data analytics and artificial intelligence. ICT is also used in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development. There are positive examples of using ICT in business practice, such as PatientsLikeMe, Airbnb, Ayla Networks and Salesforce. Using ICT in business led to the creation of a business information system, which is an information system that provides data and information for business purposes. It manages the data and information flow from the point of their creation to the user. Modern management has also led to the emergence of certain new executive positions in companies, such as the CIO and CTO positions.
