Abstract
U ovom završnom radu riječ je o komuniciranju kao dijelu kulture. Komuniciranje i kultura su zauvijek isprepletene i kako se jedna mijenja, mijenja se i druga. Interkulturalna komunikacija odvija se kada kulturološki različiti ljudi stupaju u interakciju, a međusobno se mora napraviti sjedinjenje različitih karakteristika i komponenti kulture—ideje i materijalni predmeti, kao i karakteristike kulture, nisu iste svugdje. Neke kulture imaju visoki kontekst, neke niski, što utječe na način na koji percipiraju neverbalne znakove, koliko su direktni u razgovoru, i slično. Prilikom interkulturalne komunikacije, posebno poslovne komunikacije, razumijevanje različitosti u kontekstima ključno je za dobar razvoj odnosa među poslovnim partnerima. Neke prepreke u interkulturalnoj komunikaciji koje ljudi moraju svladavati su jezične razlike, predrasude i stereotipi, pogrešne interpretacije neverbalnih poruka, tendencija ka vrednovanju i anksioznost ili tenzija.
Abstract (english)
This final paper about communication as a part of culture. Communication and culture are forever intertwined, and how one changes, the other changes. Intercultural communication takes place when culturally diverse people interact with different characteristics and components of culture-ideas and material objects as well as culture characteristics are not the same everywhere. Some cultures have a high context, some low, affecting the way they perceive non-verbal signs, how direct they are in conversation, and so on. In intercultural communication, especially business communication, understanding context diversity is key to good relationship development between business partners. Some of the obstacles to intercultural communication that people have to overcome are language differences, prejudices and stereotypes, misrepresentations of non-verbal messages, tendencies toward evaluation, and anxiety or tension.
