The paper deals with issues regarding family business management, and pays special attention on family agricultural business, which are mostly base din Baranja. The work is divided into five main chapters of which the first is based on family businesses, their definition, advantages and disadvantages, as well as their importance in the overall world economy. As a part of family business, the second part is focused on what family agricultural businesses are, their representation in Baranja, the definition of one, and also addresses the issue of how to start any form of family business. It is also written about how many of family businesses there are in Croatia, and what kind is the most represented. In the third chapter the paper deals with the challenges faced by entrepreneurs who started family businesses. In the fourth chapter the paper deals with the problems and challenges of the business transfer in family businesses and possible solutions. The fifth chapter focuses on the description of the family farm "Sandor Sabo", gives the introductory information about the business, about the relationship of family and company, as well as a detailed analysis of business and leadership style, relationship with workers, and phase in development. At the end of the paper, talks about the potential successor, and plans for the future and competition. The conclusion summarizes the most important points of theoretical and empirical part of the paper.
