Abstract
Ovim završnim radom analiziraju se uloga i ciljevi monetarne politike u nacionalnom gospodarskom sustavu (devizni tečaj, kamatna stopa, novčana masa, utjecaj na poslovne cikluse) u uvjetima visoke eurizacija. Objasnit će se načini i instrumenti kontrole inflacije pomoću tečajnog sidra, na koji način funkcionira transmisijski mehanizam tečaja u RH, uzroci visoke eurizacije, njezine posljedice na vođenje monetarne politike. Kako bi se odgovorilo na ključno istraživačko pitanje, objasnit će se i Maastrichtski kriteriji, koristi i troškovi ulaska u eurozonu. Analiza je provedena referiranjem na relevantnu domaću i inozemnu literaturu iz istraživačkog područja te službene pokazatelje relevantnih institucija.
Abstract (english)
This final work will analyze the role and goals of monetary policy in the national economic system (high interest rate conditions, money mass, impact on business cycles) in conditions of high euroization. Inflation control instruments will also be explained by means of the exchange rate anchor, how the transmission mechanism of the exchange rate in the Republic of Croatia functions, causes of high eurization, its consequence on the conduct of monetary policy. In order to answer the key research question, the Maastricht criteria, benefits and costs of entering the eurozone will be explained. Analysis and reference to relevant domestic and foreign literature in the area of services indicators and relevant institutions. We will also define the criteria that Croatia must meet in order to introduce the euro and analyze the costs and benefits of joining the monetary union.
