Abstract
Na čelu svake organizacijske strukture nalaze se menadžeri i vođe. Te osobe posjeduju veliku količinu moći o kojoj ovisi funkcionalnost i uspješnost same organizacije. Svaki vođa mora posjedovati određene stručne kvalifikacije kojima će zaposlenike i organizaciju usmjeriti ka ostvarenju postavljenih ciljeva. Menadžer, kako bi ostvario uspjeh u svojoj karijeri i organizaciji, mora biti spreman na cjeloživotno učenje. Stil vodstva ovisi o menadžeru koji ujedno može biti i vođa, odnosno o stilu u kojem je menadžer stručan ili stilu kojem se mora prilagoditi ovisno o okruženju u kojem se nađe. Svaki stil temelji se na određenim karakteristikama koje imaju prednosti i nedostatke, te o kojim će ovisiti uspješnost poslovanja. Odabir stila predstavljati će način samog poslovanja organizacije, te komunikacijsku atmosferu između podređenih i menadžera/vođe. U teoriji i praksi postoje različiti stilovi vodstva: temeljeni na osobinama vođe, ovlastima, ponašanju itd. Karakteristike vođe usko su vezane uz uspješnost poslovanja. Vođenje može biti fokusirano na stil vođe, odnosno vođa može biti orijentiran na ostvarenje zadataka ili na odgovarajuću komunikaciju unutar organizacije.
Abstract (english)
Every organizational structure is led by managers and leaders. Those people have a large amount of power, on which functionality and success of the organization itself are dependent. Every leader must have certain profession-related qualifications that will steer the organization and its employees towards achieving their established goals. To achieve success in their career and within the organization, managers must be prepared for a lifelong learning curve. Leadership style depends on the manager, who can also be a leader, in essence, this is a style influenced by the manager’s expertise or a style that needs to be adjusted depending on the environment manager is in. Each style is based on certain characteristics, which all have their pros and cons, and which are important for the success of the company. Choice of a certain style represents type of a business organization model, as well as the way of communication between the manager/leader and the subordinates . In theory and in practice there are different leadership styles: those based on leader’s characteristics, authority, behavior and so on. Leader’s characteristics are closely related to business success. Leadership can be focused on leader’s style, which means that a leader can be task-oriented or focused on successful communication within the organization.
