Abstract
Razvoj interneta i njegovo preuzimanje popularnosti među medijima imali su utjecaj i na područje oglašavanja. Unazad 20 godina internet je bacio sjenu na sve druge medije poput televizije, radija i novina, ne samo glede broja korisnika nego i glede marketinga. U odnosu na druge medije, prednosti su interneta brzo širenje oglasa, dostupnost, isplativost te dvosmjerna komunikacija. Upravo zato danas gotovo svako poduzeće koristi ovaj način oglašavanja. One su svoju popularnost doživjele zahvaljujući mogućnosti povezivanja ljudi na velikim udaljenosti, održavanju odnosa, dijeljenja mišljenja, interesa i stavova. Društvena mreža koja se uzdigla iznad drugih, koja je u kratkom vremenu stekla veliku popularnost, a danas se koristi u cijelom svijetu je Facebook. Zahvaljujući velikom broju korisnika i jednostavnom korištenju, najčešća je društvena mreža koja se koristi za oglašavanje. Osim toga, zahvaljujući jednostavnim i lako provjerljivim načinima mjerenja učinkovitosti, prvi je izbor većine oglašivača te je postala sastavni dio marketinga gotovo svih ozbiljnih poduzeća. Učinkovitost je oglašavanja putem društvene mreže Facebook vidljiva je samo u porastu zarade poduzeća, nego i u broju korisnika koji pregledavaju oglase, kao i onih koji opetovano vrše narudžbe i kupnju oglašavanih proizvoda. Development of the Internet and its popularity among the other media had influence on the advertising area. In the last 20 years, the Internet cast a shadow on traditional media like television, radio, and newspaper, not only regarding the number of users but also related to marketing. Compared to the other media, the advantages of the Internet are rapid ad expansion, availability, cost-effectiveness and two-way communication. They became popular thanks to connecting people at long distances, keeping relationship among people, sharing thoughts, interests, and attitudes. Facebook is a social network that rose above others, became popular in a very short time and is used all around the world. Thanks to the big number of users and easy usage, it's the most often used social network for advertising. Besides that, thanks to the simple and verifiable ways of measuring effectiveness, this social network is the first choice of most advertisers and has become an integral marketing component of almost every company.
