Online forms of payment are a method of payment where users can perform cashless transactions through their devices. The term devices refers to a smartphone, smartwatch, tablet, desktop and laptop computer that have an Internet connection. Online forms of payment are being used more and more, while cash and physical forms of payment are becoming less popular. They are very easy to use. Also, they are practical and they waste much less time than usual. Today new payment methods such as digital money and cryptocurrencies are being developed and popularized. Digital money is still much more accepted in the world compared to cryptocurrencies, but it is certain that cryptocurrencies will be very important in the payment system in the future. The aim of this graduate paper is to determine which online form of payment would be most suitable for use for the purpose of simple and practical payment. The purpose of this graduate paper is to point out to the insufficiently informed public the great potential and advantages of online forms of payment compared to physical forms of payment. Also, a survey will be conducted in which information on online forms of payment and digital currencies will be collected by a selected sample of respondents and an analysis of the results will be performed in order to finally get a clearer picture of the attitude of the target group. The survey showed that 83% of respondents used online forms of payment, while cryptocurrencies were used by only 11% of respondents.
