Abstract Ovaj rad analizira stanje i kretanje trendova u industriji računalih igara i aplikacija.
računalnih igara i aplikacija najbrže rastuća industrija u svijetu. Republika Hrvatska kao država
je obvezna osmisliti dugoročnu strategiju i plan proširivanja industrije računalih igara i aplikacija
na veću razinu od trenutne odnosno sadašnje. Pojam industrijska politika fokus stavlja na
unapređenje i rast industrije pomoću politika kako bi se ostvario konačan cilj, a to jest
industrijalizacija u sektoru računalnih igara i aplikacija.
interese članica pred državnim tijelima i onima u inozemstvu. Uspostava kvalitetnih poslovnih
Mobilne igre posljednjih godina bilježe značajan skok u prodaji, stoga i nije
Danas nema svatko
igraču konzolu što ujedno znači manji profit od prodaje igara zbog uzročno posljedične veze
manjeg broja korisnika.
Abstract (english) This paper analyzes the state and trends in the computer games and applications industry. They
explain the benefits of this branch, which has a significant impact on the economy of the country.
The fact is that the computer games and applications industry is the fastest growing industry in
the world. The Republic of Croatia, as a state, is obliged to devise a long-term strategy and plan
for expanding the computer games and applications industry to a higher level than the current
level. The term industrial policy focuses on the advancement and growth of the industry through
policies to achieve the ultimate goal: industrialization in the computer games and applications
sector. Industrial policy, which seeks to achieve economic goals for the common good, are the
institutions that will seek to realize and implement it. The Croatian Chamber of Commerce has a
significant role in accomplishing these tasks. It is in charge as a professional and business
organization to promote, represent, and coordinate the common interests of members before state
bodies and those abroad. Establishing quality business incubators for the development of
entrepreneurship, exclusively for the field of computer games and applications, because it is not
similar to any other industry that focuses on physically tangible products. In addition to the
state's strategy and local and regional administrations, the knowledge and experience of experts
in this field who know how to implement this plan safely, with quality and long-term focus are
needed. Reform in education is necessary, especially in informatics, where students learn what a
keyboard and mouse are. Every modern child from developed countries knows what a keyboard
and mouse are. They need to learn programming languages, learn what it means for them and
what they can do with it one day as a profession. Numerous economic experts notice the
importance of this industry, and it needs to be realized at the macro level. There is no question at
all that the school system is obsolete. A child born in the time of keyboards and mouses does not
need to learn what they are. Their knowledge needs to be expanded because by expanding their
knowledge in this area, we can increase the number of computer experts and programmers in this
industry. Some computer experts focus on application development, while others focus on
developing computer (video) games. I think that the term video game is more appropriate because
the gaming industry refers not only to computers but also to gaming consoles and
mobile phones. Mobile games have seen a significant jump in sales in recent years, so it is not
questionable why individual companies are restructuring their business and shifting their focus
from selling video games for computers and gaming consoles to mobile video games. Today,
everyone has a mobile phone, small and large, which automatically means a larger number of
users and a greater possibility of selling the games that are produced. Today, not everyone has a
gaming console, which also means less profit from the sale of games due to the causal
connection of a smaller number of users.
