Abstract
Mala i srednja poduzeća predstavljaju okosnicu hrvatskog gospodarstva. Usprkos brojnim prednostima koje sa sobom nose, suočavaju se i s velikim brojem izazova. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada ogleda se u objašnjavanju provedbe konzultantskog procesa unutar malih i srednjih poduzeća. Konzultanti svojim znanjima i savjetima pomažu u rastu i razvoju poduzeća pozitivno utječući na gospodarstvo Republike Hrvatske. Nerijetko malim i srednjim poduzećima nedostaje znanja i iskustva zbog čega im je neophodna pomoć konzultanta. U empirijskom dijelu rada obrađuje se konzultantski proces na praktičnom primjeru koji uključuje OPG kao malo i srednje poduzeće koje je angažiralo konzultanta za ispomoć u prihvaćanju projekta za pribavljanje sredstava iz EU fondova. Praktičan primjer je primjer dobre prakse iz kojeg se očituju beneficije koje je moguće ostvariti iz ovakvog odnosa. U radu se također proveo intervju s konzultantom iz kojeg je vidljivo da još uvijek među malim i srednjim poduzećima vlada određeni otpor prema korištenju konzultantskih usluga uslijed nedovoljnih financijskih sredstava za istima, ali i neznanja koje za posljedicu ima podcjenjivanje posla konzultanata.
Abstract (english)
Small and medium-sized enterprises represent the backbone of the Croatian economy with 99.7% of the total number of enterprises, and in the last five years the number of such enterprises has been continuously growing. Despite the many benefits they brin, they also face a number of challenges. The aim of this thesis is to explain the implementation of the consulting process within small and medium enterprises. With their knowledge and advices, consultants help in the growth and development of companies by positively influencing the economy of the Republic of Croatia. Often small and medium enterprises lack knowledge and experience, which is why they need the help of a consultant. The empirical part of the paper deals with the consulting process on a practical example that includes a family farm as a small and medium enterprise that hired a consultant to help accept the project for obtaining funds from EU. A practical example is an example of good practice from which the benefits that can be realized from such a relationship are evident. The paper also conducted an interview with a consultant, which shows that there is still some resistance among SMEs to the use of consulting services due to insufficient funding for them, but also ignorance that results in underestimation of the work of consultants.
