Abstract
Poduzetništvo predstavlja vitalnu komponentu gospodarskog rasta i razvoja, a obiteljska poduzeća su najzastupljeniji oblik poduzetništva kako u Europi, tako i u ostalim zemljama svijeta. Iako se uglavnom promatraju kao mala i srednja, obiteljska poduzeća imaju znatan utjecaj na ukupne prihode od gospodarskih aktivnosti, zaposlenost i konkurentnost. Prednost obiteljskih poduzeća je što se odluke donose brže i fleksibilnije, veća je posvećenost poslu od strane obitelji, a osobni pristup poslu se... More temelji na povjerenju. Osim toga, obiteljska poduzeća su etična i društveno odgovorna, te manje sklona zaduživanju. Ono što predstavlja veliki problem kod obiteljskih poduzeća je pitanje transfera vlasništva u trenutku kada se vlasnik odluči povući iz biznisa i nepotizam. Abstract (english)
Entrepreneurship represents vital component of economic growth and development, and family businesses are the most frequent forms of entrepreneurship both in Europe and in other countries of the world. Although they are mainly seen as small and medium, family businesses have major influence on total revenue of economic activity, employment and competitiveness. Advantage of family businesses is that the decisions are made faster and more flexible, greater dedication by family, and personal... More approach to business is based on trust. Besides that, family businesses are ethical and socially responsible and less prone to borrowing. The thing that represents big problem in family businesses is the issue of transfer of ownership at the moment when the owner decides to retire from the business and nepotism.
