This paper presents five religious traditions - Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism, and explores how each of them affects the behavior of the individual, especially his attitude to work. With the strengthening of globalization and thus with the creation of numerous connections, increasing migrations of people have been enabled, which leads to increasing contact between societies of different cultures and religions. For this reason, the emphasis in this thesis is on religion as one of the factors of culture that can significantly affect intercultural communication itself. Due to differences in worldviews, intercultural communication is often faced with misunderstanding, which ultimately leads to intercultural (communication) conflict. The modern business world requires knowledge of different religious identities, which leads to a better understanding of the thinking and behavior of individuals and thus reduces, ie avoids the trap of prejudice and discrimination. Comparing different religions, it can be concluded that despite many differences, they still share certain common characteristics. One of them is the moral values due to which a person strives for the right principles in life and thus in business. The assumption is that people, following the principles of their religion, which are based on certain values, will do their job in a morally and ethically correct way, and that through open communication conditions will be created for the intercultural understanding of diversity.
