Abstract
Emocije su sveprisutne u životu ljudi. Svakodnevno se u ljudima izmijeni veliki broj emocija kojima pojedinci više ili manje uspješno upravljaju. U organizacijama je emocionalna inteligencija zaposlenika, s naglaskom na emocionalnu inteligenciju lidera, izuzetno važna. Lideri svakodnevno rade s velikim brojem ljudi koji su različiti i imaju različite vještine te čiji je uspjeh na radnom mjestu uvelike uvjetovan razinom emocionalne inteligencije istih. Emocionalna inteligencija utječe i na... More kreativnosti i na inovativnost zaposlenika kao i na samopouzdanje zaposlenika. S obzirom na to da vode timove ljudi lideri trebaju imati što razvijeniji stupanj emocionalne inteligencije zašto što isti kroz upravljanje vlastitim emocijama i emocijama zaposlenika upravljaju aktivnostima koje u konačnici dovode do realizacije ciljeva organizacije. Lideri koji imaju razvijenu emocionalnu inteligenciju rjeđe rade pogreške pri zapošljavanju novih zaposlenika, brže prepoznaju potencijal u zaposlenicima i usmjeravaju svoje zaposlenike na adekvatna radna mjesta, lakše osposobljavanju svoje zaposlenike i usmjeravaju iste u razvoju njihovih karijera, učinkovitiji su u prepoznavanju problema i rješavanju konflikata te u smanjenju razine stresa kod zaposlenika. U radu su intervjuirane osobe koje obnašaju funkcije lidera u različitim poduzećima i ustanovama. Intervjuirane osobe ukazale su na važnost emocionalne inteligencije u liderstvu, utjecaj koji emocionalna inteligencija ima na uspješnost lidera i općenito na performansu zaposlenika. S obzirom na dosadašnju važnost emocionalne inteligencije zaposlenika u poslovanju poduzeća pretpostavka je da će, s obzirom na događanja u svijetu i na tržištu, emocionalna inteligencija kroz vrijeme dobiti na još većoj važnosti i da će lideri imati još više posla s upravljanjem emocija svojih zaposlenika. Abstract (english)
Emotions are ubiquitous in people's lives. Every day, a large number of emotions change in people, which individuals manage more or less successfully. In organizations, the emotional intelligence of employees, with an emphasis on the emotional intelligence of leaders, is extremely important. Leaders work with a large number of people on a daily basis who are different and have different skills and whose success in the workplace is largely conditioned by their level of emotional ... More intelligence. Emotional intelligence affects both the creativity and innovation of employees as well as the self-confidence of employees. Given that people lead teams, leaders should have as developed a level of emotional intelligence as possible, because through managing their own emotions and the emotions of employees, they manage activities that ultimately lead to the realization of organizational goals. Leaders who have developed emotional intelligence are less likely to make mistakes in hiring new employees, recognize potential in employees faster and direct their employees to adequate jobs, more easily train their employees and guide them in their career development, are more effective in recognizing problems and resolving conflicts and reducing employee stress levels. The paper interviews people who hold leadership positions in various companies and institutions. Interviewees pointed out the importance of emotional intelligence in leadership, the impact that emotional intelligence has on leader performance and on employee performance in general. Given the importance of employee emotional intelligence in the company's business so far, the assumption is that, given world and market developments, emotional intelligence will gain even more importance over time and that leaders will have even more to do with managing their employees' emotions.
