Introduction: Communication are all around us throughout the entire period of life, from the earliest age to the end. Communication is a skill that in addition to conversation involves body language and even the way of listening. In order for communication to be proper it is necessary to possess communication skills. The development of these skills is important for the whole organization. It is very important for the human resources manager to create a healthy environment within the organization that leads to a sense of security and freedom among employees, which provides them with a framework to express their own thoughts, feelings and attitudes related to plans, business, problems. Methods: As part of the work, a short survey was conducted on 60 respondents who are employees of Konzum d.d. with the aim of presenting the topic of the work through an example from practice through an anonymous questionnaire made on the Google platform. An example of a questionnaire was made according to the „Communication Satisfaction Questionnaire“, developed by Downs and Hazen (1977), the primary research tool used in communication assessments. The obtained data were processed by descriptive statistics, such as frequency, mean and standard deviation, Z-test. Results: When processing the data with the help of descriptive statistics and Z-test, two of the three hypotheses were confirmed. Conclusion: Communication skills are very important for the functioning of organizations, so it would certainly require more research on this topic that could help develop and improve communication within the organization. The effective use of communication skills is the foundation for successful human resource management within an organization.
