Abstract
Jedinice lokalne i regionalne samouprave obavljaju razne funkcije i poslove koji su propisani Zakonom, te stječu prihode kojima slobodno raspolažu u svom djelokrugu. Na taj način one neposredno ostvaruju potrebe svojih građana. Proračun lokalnih jedinica predstavlja važan dokument koji sadrži sve primitke i izdatke kao i rashode i izdatke za jednu proračunsku godinu, u skladu s propisima. Svrha rada bila je pomoću dostupnih podataka i pokazatelja, te na temelju analize proračuna utvrditi gospodarsku i financijsku situaciju Grada Osijeka. Također, opisom strategije se nastojalo detaljnije proučiti daljnje aktivnosti i projekte koji se nastoje provoditi.
Abstract (english)
The local and regional authority units are performing many functions and chores that are prescribed by law and they acquire incomes which they freely dispose with in their own domain. This way, they are achieving the needs of their citizens. Local unit budget represents an important document which contains all the outlays and the expenses and outlays for one year budget, in accordance with regulations. Purpose of this work is to establish economy and financial situation of the city of Osijek, with budget analysis by using available data and existing indicators. Also, there was an attempt to study their further activity and projects by describing the strategy.
