Abstract
U ovom radu ispituje se učinak etnocentrizma na namjere kupnje domaćih i stranih proizvoda. Istraživanje je provedeno upitnikom kojim se htjelo istražiti jesu li potrošači na području Hrvatske više skloni konzumaciji stranog piva ili su više naklonjeni kupovini domaćih marki piva. Istraživanje je provedeno unutar Hrvatske među stanovnicima dobne starosti od 18 do 70 godina. Podaci su prikupljeni od 40 ispitanika pomoću upitnika na temelju mjerenja CETSCALE te pomoću ankete o konzumaciji piva napravljene od strane autora. Prilikom analize rezultata u obzir su uzete dvije demografske karakteristike (dob i stupanj obrazovanja) i socio-psihološke karakteristike. Rezultati istraživanja su pokazali kako postoji određena negativna korelacija između demografskih faktora i razine etnocentrizma te da su potrošači više upoznati s konzumacijom stranih marka piva.
Abstract (english)
This paper examines the effect of ethnocentrism on the intentions to purchase domestic and foreign products. The research was conducted with a questionnaire to investigate whether consumers in Croatia are more inclined to consume foreign beer or are more inclined to buy local beer. The survey was conducted within Croatia among residents aged 18 to 70 years. Data were collected from 40 respondents using a questionnaire based on CETSCALE measurements and using a beer consumption survey conducted by the author. When analyzing the results, two demographic characteristics (age and level of education) and sociopsychological characteristics were taken into account. The results of the research showed that there is a certain negative correlation between demographic factors and the level of ethnocentrism, and that consumers are more familiar with the consumption of foreign beer brands.
