Abstract
Svaka organizacija bez obzira na djelatnost s kojom se bavi, godine postojanja ili svoju veličinu primorana je živjeti u sustavu koji je okružuje. Taj sustav čine politička i pravna okolina, kupci i konkurencija koja organizaciji nameće da se prilagođava nastalim promjenama. Stoga, upravljanje promjenama može se promatrati kao proces mijenjanja odnosno prilagođavanja organizacije. Organizacije moraju djelovati na promjene okoline kako bi uspjele zadržati konkurentsku prednost, poboljšale svoj način poslovanja te si osigurale opstanak. Uspješan menadžer trebao bi moći predvidjeti promjene te prevladati otpor zaposlenika u prihvaćanju istih. Cilj ovog rada je istražiti općenito upravljanje promjenama i percepciju studenata o promjenama kroz koje su prošli u svom studijskom životu za vrijeme pandemije virusa covid- 19. U teorijskom djelu rada je definiran pojam organizacijske promjene te važnost njezinog provođenja, navedeni su razlozi koji utječu na uvođenje promjena, opisane su reakcije zaposlenika u njihovom provođenju te je navedeno kako menadžer kao glavni inicijator promjena uspijeva prevladati barijere koje se pojavljuju od strane zaposlenika. Nadalje, prikazane su faze u upravljanju promjenama. U empirijskom djelu rada je prikazano istraživanje u kojemu su studenti Ekonomskog fakulteta u Osijeku popunjavali online upitnik koji je podijeljen putem društvenih mreža s ciljem prikupljanja informacija o percepciji studenata o promjenama u njihovom studijskom životu izazvanima pandemijom virusa covid-19.
Abstract (english)
Every organization, regardless of the activity it is engaged in, years of existence or its size, is forced to live in the system that surrounds it. This system consists of competition, customers, political, legal environment that forces the organization to adapt to the changes. Therefore, change management can be viewed as a process of changing or adapting an organization. Organizations must act on changes in the environment in order to maintain a competitive advantage, improve their way of doing business and ensure their survival. A successful manager should be able to anticipate change and overcome employee resistance in accepting it. The aim of this paper is to explore the general change management and students’ perception of the changes they went through in their study life during covid-19. The theoretical part of the paper defines organizational change and the importance of its implementation, states the reasons for the introduction of changes, describes the reactions of employees in their implementation and states how the manager as the main initiator of change manages to overcome barriers that arise from employees. Furthermore, the stages in change management are shown. The empirical part of the paper presents a study in which students of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek filled out an online questionnaire which was distributed via social networks with the aim of collecting information on students' perceptions of changes in their study life through changes during the covid-19 pandemic.
