Abstract
Kroz rad obrađena je tema upravljanja stresom u današnjem načinu života i poslovanja. Pojam stresa definira se kao utjecaj na fizičko i psihološko zdravlje koje uključuje mentalno, fizičko i emocionalno naprezanje. U današnjem užurbanom načinu života, kako privatnom tako i poslovnom, dolazi do pojave sve veće količine stresa među ljudima. Stres se pojavljuje kada zahtjevi premašuju sposobnost suočavanja pojedinca i time poremete njegovu psihološku ravnotežu. Prisutnost stresa najočitija je na radnom mjestu kada zaposlenik situaciju vidi kao preveliko opterećenje s kojim se ne može nositi. Na taj način prijeti svojoj dobrobiti. Kada se govori o stresu u poduzeću, odnsno na radnom mjestu stres kao takav nema negativan utjecaj samo na pojedinca nego i na cjelokupno radno okruženje. Stres vezan uz posao izaziva prekomjernu zabrinutost jer ima značajne ekonomske implikacije za organizaciju. Zbog toga je jako važno da svi koji rukovode nekakvom organizacijom znaju što i kako utječe na stvaranje stresa među zaposlenicima, kako upravljati takvim situacijama ili članovima organizacije i na koji način uopće izbjegavati stresne situacije. Čak i ako je neka vrsta stres normalni dio života, njegova zastupljenost u velikim količinama može utjecati na produktivnost, zdravlje i emocije. Stoga, važno je znati pravilno upravljati stresom kako bi se njegova razina držala pod kontrolom.
Abstract (english)
The paper deals with the topic of stress management in today's way of life and business. The term stress is defined as an impact on physical and psychological health that includes mental, physical and emotional strain. In today's busy lifestyle, both private and business, there is an increasing amount of stress among people. Stress appears when the demands exceed the individual's ability to cope and thereby disrupt his psychological balance. The presence of stress is most evident in the workplace when the employee sees the situation as too much of a burden that he cannot cope with. In this way, he threatens his well-being. When we talk about stress in the classroom, that is, in the workplace, stress as such does not only have a negative impact on the individual, but also on the entire work environment. Work-related stress is of excessive concern because it has significant economic implications for the organization. That is why it is very important that everyone who manages an organization knows what and how it affects the creation of stress among employees, how to manage such situations or members of the organization and how to avoid stressful situations in general. Even if some kind of stress is a normal part of life, its presence in large quantities can affect productivity, health and emotions. Therefore, it is important to know how to properly manage stress in order to keep its level under control.
