Abstract
Zelene regije su pojam koji sve više dolazi do izražaja i o kojem će se puno raspravljati u budućnosti. U radu su analizirane karakteristike zelenih regija kao i izazovi i perspektive prema zelenim specijalizacijama. Objašnjeno je koji sektori u zelenim regijama su najzastupljeniji i koji su najveći potencijali za razvoj. Analizirano je kako se Europa na strateškoj razini nosi s izazovima zelenih specijalizacija. Također analizirano je kako održivo i pametno strateško rješenje može nacionalnim gospodarstvima donijeti konkurentsku prednost u zelenim specijalizacijama. Cilj istraživanja je objasniti pojam pametnih gradova kao jezgara razvoja zelenih regija i utvrditi kako nova tehnološka dostignuća utječu na razvoj zelenog regionalnog gospodarstva. Analizirano je koje su to regionalne specijalizacije velikih svjetskih gospodarskih lidera njih učinili moćnim gospodarstvima i koje strategije njih vode prema zelenim specijalizacijama. Objašnjeno je kako Republika Hrvatska ima potencijal razvoja zelenog gospodarstva te su istaknuti sektori koji mogu biti nositelji takvoga razvoja.
Abstract (english)
Green regions are a concept that is increasingly coming to the expression and that will be much more discussed in the future. The paper analyzes the characteristics of green regions and the challenges and perspectives towards to green specializations. It was explained witch sectors in the green regions are most common and have the biggest potential for development. It was analyzed how Europe, on the strategic level, deals with challenges to green specializations. It was also analyzed how sustainable and smart strategic solutions can bring, to national economies, competitive advantage in green specializations. The research goal is to explain the concept of smart cities as a development cores of green regions and determine how new technological developments are affecting the green development of regional economies. It was analyzed which are the regional specializations of major world's economics leaders, who made them powerful economies and which strategies are leading them to green specializations. It was explained how Croatia has the potential development to green economy and there are highlighted the sectors that can be carrier of such an development.
