poduzećima nužnost primjene sustava upravljanja koji će omogućiti prilagodbu izazovima u
kratkom roku i održavanje stabilnost poslovanja u dugom roku. Razvoj normi na kojima se temelje
sustavi upravljanja omogućava olakšano upravljanje poduzećem i značajnu konkurentnost

... More integriranih sustava upravljanja (u nastavku kratica: ISU) na ekonomske
performanse poduzeća mjerene tradicionalnim pokazateljima ili 2) području objedinjenih analiza
više pokazatelja, ali i više sustava upravljanja istodobno. Svrha i cilj doktorskoga rada provođenje
je znanstveno utemeljenog istraživanja o utjecaju ISU-a na ekonomske performanse poduzeća
odabranih zemalja članica EU-a (uključujući i Hrvatsku) i Velike Britanije. Pritom je nužno
istražiti: 1) koji se sustavi upravljanja najčešće integriraju u ISU, 2) na koji način primjena višeg i
nižeg stupnja integriranosti i zrelosti utječe na ekonomske performanse poduzeća te 3) ispitati
korelaciju s podatcima o veličini poduzeća (broju zaposlenih i ostvarenim prihodima), izvoznoj
propulzivnosti, djelatnosti (prerađivački sektor, građevina i usluge) i lokaciji poduzeća (država).
Kvantitativni podatci prikupljeni iz sekundarnih podataka analizirani su primjenom računalne
podrške IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0. U analizi podataka korištene su metode univarijatne i bivarijatne
statističke analize (t-test nezavisnih uzoraka, jednosmjerna analiza varijance nezavisnih uzoraka,
korelacijska analiza, hi-kvadrat test neovisnosti). U analizi ekonomskih performansi poduzeća
koristi se tradicionalni sustav mjerenja performansi poduzeća zasnovan na financijskim
pokazateljima performansi. Uzorak istraživanja obuhvaća izvještaje 129 poduzeća sa sjedištima u
Hrvatskoj, odabranim zemljama članicama EU-a i Velikoj Britaniji, a podijeljen je u tri grupe, i to
na izvještaj s audita: 1) proizvodnih poduzeća (n = 112), 2) građevinskih poduzeća (n = 13) i 3)
uslužnih poduzeća (n = 62). Ukupno je analizirano 187 izvještaja s provedenih audita u
uzorkovanim poduzećima. Uzorak izvještaja istraživanjem je ograničen na razdoblje od 2016. do

Prva je godina izabrana zbog konsolidacije koja se dogodila od službenog završetka recesije u
Hrvatskoj 2014. godine, a posljednja godina predstavlja posljednju godinu prije pojave COVID-
19 pandemije i njezina utjecaja na globalne logističke i ostale financijsko-ekonomske poremećaje.
U radu se predlaže nadogradnja modela IMS-MM© (Domingues, Sampaio i Arezes, 2016) koji je
koncipiran s trima sustavima upravljanja (kvaliteta, okoliš, sigurnost na radu), dok se u analizi rada
obuhvaća skup od šest sustava upravljanja koji obuhvaća i prethodno spomenuta tri sustava. Na
temelju provedenog empirijskog istraživanja formulirale su se smjernice za daljnji razvoj i
primjenu ISU-a u poduzećima vodeći računa o veličini poduzeća, karakteristikama djelatnosti
poduzeća, izvoznoj propulzivnosti, temeljima za potencijalnu organizacijsku transformaciju te
poslovnom okruženju pojedinih zemalja koje su predmet istraživanja. Provedeno istraživanje
otvara novi istraživački prostor u području ISU-a, njihovih kompleksnosti te utjecaja na ekonomske
performanse poduzeća. Less Abstract (english) Globalization, economic growth, social and political demands lead to the need to implement a
management system that allows companies to adapt to short-term challenges and maintain the
stability of the company in the long term. In addition, the development of standards on which
management systems are based enables easier management and a significant increase in the

... More of studying the impact of integrated management systems (IMS) on the
economic performance of enterprises, measured by traditional indicators or a combined analysis of
several indicators and several management systems simultaneously. The purpose and objective of
the dissertation is to scientifically investigate the impact of IMS on the economic performance of
companies in selected EU Member States (including Croatia) and the United Kingdom. The aim is
to investigate which management systems are most commonly integrated into IMS and how higher
and lower levels of integration and maturity affect the economic performance of the company. In
addition, the correlation with data on company size (number of employees and turnover), export
propensity, activities (manufacturing, construction and services) and company location (state) will
be investigated.
Quantitative data obtained from secondary data were processed using computer support IBM SPSS
Statistics 25.0. In data analysis, methods of univariate statistical analysis, bivariate statistical
analysis (t-test for independent samples, one-way analysis of variance for independent
representatives, correlation analysis, regression analysis, chi-square test) were used. In the study
of economic performance of a company, a traditional system of measuring company performance
based on financial performance measures is used. The research sample includes 129 companies
located in Croatia, selected EU member states and the United Kingdom and is divided into three
groups: Audit reports of: 1) manufacturing companies (n = 112), 2) construction companies (n=
13) and 3) service companies (n = 62). One hundred and eighty-seven reports on audits conducted
in the sampled companies were processed. The sample covers four years from 2016 to 2019. (end
of the recession in Croatia in 2014 and before the impact of the pandemic COVID -19). The
dissertation proposes an extension of the IMS-MM© model (Domingues, Sampaio and Arezes,
2016), which is designed with three management systems (quality, environment and occupational
health and safety), while the analysis of this dissertation includes a set of six management systems
consisting of the three systems mentioned above. Based on the scientific research conducted,
guidelines for further development and application of IMS in companies were formulated, taking
into account the size of the company, the characteristics of the company, the export strength, the
bases for possible organizational transformation and the economic environment of each country.
The dissertation opens a new research space for the complexity of IMS and its impact on the
