Abstract | Kultura je skup različitih tradicija, običaja, vjerovanja, ideja, znanja, praksi ili pak obrazaca
ponašanja. Sport kao fizička aktivnost, što onih koji se njome bave, a što onih koji ju prate
čime stvaraju navijačku supkulturu, prisutna je u svakodnevnom životu ljudi zbog čega se ne
može negirati povezanost kulture i sporta. Kako u nekim društvima postoje vjerovanja,
tradicija, običaji ili obrasci ponašanja karakteristični za kulturu njihovog društva tako u tim
društvima postoje sportovi koji su karakteristični za ta društva dok su za druga društva manje
karakteristični ili možda uopće nisu karakteristični za ta društva. Kako bi se kulture
međusobno mogle razumjeti kao i nekakva sportska obilježja koja su sastavni dio kulture, ali i
navijačka supkultura koja je dio sportske kulture potrebna je interkulturalna komunikacija, tj.
komunikacija između više različitih kultura, koja uvelike olakšava shvaćanje neke druge
kulture, a samim time i njezine sportske kulture i, sukladno tomu, omogućava prilagodbu
ponašanja u skladu s drugom kulturom kada dođe do komunikacije s istom. Sportska kultura
usko je povezana s kulturnim vrednotama društva za koje je karakteristična. Može se reći da,
ona društva, tj. države, koje organiziraju različite sportske manifestacije ili natjecanja nastoje
iskoristiti tu priliku kako bi, barem minimalno, prenijeli svoje običaje i kulturu drugim
državama sudionicima tih manifestacija ili natjecanja kao i onima koji takve manifestacije ili
natjecanja prate. |
Abstract (english) | Culture is a set of different traditions, customs, beliefs, ideas, knowledge, practices or patterns
of behavior. Sport as a physical activity, what about those who engage in it and what about
those who follow it, creating a fan subculture, is present in people's everyday life, which is
why the connection between culture and sport cannot be denied. As in some societies there
are beliefs, traditions, customs or patterns of behavior characteristic of the culture of their
society, so in these societies there are sports that are characteristic of those societies, while for
other societies they are less characteristic or perhaps not characteristic of those societies at all.
In order for cultures to be able to understand each other, as well as certain sports
characteristics that are an integral part of culture, but also the fan subculture that is part of
sports culture, intercultural communication is needed, i.e. communication between several
different cultures, which greatly facilitates the understanding of another culture and thus of its
sports culture and, accordingly, enables the adaptation of behavior in accordance with another
culture when communicating with it. Sports culture is closely connected with the cultural
values of the society for which it is characteristic. It can be said that those societies, i.e. states,
which organize various sports events or competitions, try to use this opportunity to, at least
minimally, transfer their customs and culture to other countries participating in those events
or competitions, as well as to those who monitor such events or competitions. |
