In private and business life, communication is key. In order to be able to get in touch with another person more easily, we need knowledge about the rules of communication. Forms of communication are divided into verbal and non-verbal communication. It is necessary to observe body language, facial expression, voice intonation, body posture and generally listening to the other person during the communication process so that the conversation between the two interlocutors runs as simply and reasonably as possible. In a business environment, it is necessary for managers to be ready to resolve conflicts if they arise. Conflicts are welcome both in private and business life, because in this way we express dissatisfaction or a certain type of disagreement. In this way, we point out to the other person certain things that should be changed in order to create harmony in a private or business relationship. It is also important for the organization to know what our role is within the organization so that we can carry out proper communication with regard to the communication networks that exist within the organization. We distinguish between vertical communication from top to bottom, vertical communication from bottom to top, and horizontal communication. If we know our role in the organization, it is easier to transmit information, knowing exactly what kind of information is transmitted from the top to the bottom and also from the bottom to the top. In addition to the role, we must also determine which communication style we will use. It is necessary to determine which style of communication is suitable for which situation, and we distinguish between assertive, aggressive and submissive, i.e. passive style.
