Human resources management is a fundamental function of management, and it deals with various activities related to work with employees and their motivation. Every company strives to meet the set goals in order to achieve success in business. The best way to achieve the goals is made by the employees, and for this reason it is necessary to gather quality employees who will represent the success of the company. Nowadays, employees have the necessary knowledge and opportunities to work, but if there is not enough motivation and application of certain knowledge, the needs and goals of the organization are not met. When there is motivation to work, it affects the level of productivity, which leads to better results within the organization. In order to best explain people's behaviors and choices in certain situations, theories of motivation have been developed over the years, with the help of which we recognize how certain situations affect people's motivation. Using them, we find out whether employees act voluntarily or do certain work solely for the sake of a reward. There are two types of motivation theories: content and process theories of motivation. Motivational systems in the company are ways of encouraging and directing employees. Also, they present different strategies for motivating such as training, flexible working hours, praise and other forms of motivation, and one of the more successful ways of motivating is through a reward system. The reward system consists of: a system of material stimulation, a system of non-material stimulation and employee disincentives.
