Energy drinks are becoming more and more popular among consumers in all parts of the world, especially among younger age groups, and their sales and distribution network is becoming more and more complex. Every year, better and better sales results are recorded, and the products are becoming more and more available on the shelves of retail chains. In order for the end customer to reach the products, it is crucial that they are available in optimal locations at the right time. For this reason, other aspects of business are also important, such as the location of the market, the organization of warehouses and logistics solutions for efficient product delivery. The diploma thesis "Analysis of different sales and distribution channels of energy drinks in 2022" systematizes a theoretical framework based on relevant literature that will help shape this work. In addition, the work is based on quantitative research of different sales channels during the year 2022 in the Republic of Croatia and provides a detailed insight into each sales channel. The tool that will be used for data analysis will be Microsoft Excel, a tool that allows users to organize, create and analyze data in a spreadsheet format. As part of Excel, various formulas that are available will be used, all for the purpose of in-depth data analysis. The main goal is to determine which of the individual sales channels has the greatest importance, and which sales channel does not represent a significant role in the sales context, and how to improve it. The main source of data will be the report of Nielsen Holdings, an American company that operates in more than 100 countries around the world, and their main task is to provide information and data from the relevant market.
