Abstract
Pokretanje poduzetničkog pothvata podrazumijeva situaciju u kojoj će, vremenom, doći trenutak kada će poduzetnik trebati napustiti poslovni pothvat. Takav proces može trajati i po nekoliko godina, ovisno o planiranom modelu izlaska iz poslovanja. Iako je najčešći razlog zbog kojeg se vlasnici žele povući iz poslovanja mirovina, postoje i razlozi kao što su razvod, bolest, promjena profesije vlasnika ili iznenadna smrt. Poželjno je da se sam proces počne pravovremeno planirati kako bi se predvidjelo dovoljno vremena za implementaciju odabrane opcije izlaska iz poslovanja. Kada se vlasnik odluči na izlazak iz poduzetničkog pothvata na raspolaganju ima par opcija. Takve opcije uključuju prijenos poslovanja na člana obitelji što je ujedno i najpoželjnija opcija među poduzetnicima, zatim se može odlučiti za prodaju ili likvidaciju poduzeća. Svaki poduzetnik se odlučuje za opciju koja se sukladno sa njegovoj/njenoj situaciji čini najprihvatljivijom. U empirijskom dijelu rada kroz analizu studije slučaja istražen je tijek i uspješnost tranzicije na primjeru obiteljskog poduzeća iz prakse. U analiziranom slučaju, vlasnik je prenio poslovanje na člana obitelji, odnosno sina koji je dalje nastavio uspješno razvijati poslovanje. Uspješna tranzicija poslovanja u analiziranom slučaju rezultat je pravovremene pripreme, a isto tako i svjesnosti osnivača da takav proces nije ni malo jednostavan i da donosi puno izazova i prepreka.
Abstract (english)
Starting an entrepreneurial venture also implies a situation in which, over time, it will arise the moment when the entrepreneur will need to leave the business venture. Such a process can last for several years, depending on the planned exit model. Although retirement is the most common reason why owners want to withdraw from the business, there are other reasons such as divorce, illness, change of owner's profession or sudden death. It is desirable that the process itself start planning in a timely manner in order to provide enough time for implementation of the chosen exit option. When the owner decides to leave the company, there are a couple of options available. Such options include transmission business to a family member, which is also the most preferred option among entrepreneurs, then can decide to sell or liquidate the company. Every entrepreneur decides on the option which seems the most acceptable according to his/her situation. In the empirical part of the work through analysis of the case study, the course and success of the transition was investigated on the example of a family business from practice. In the analyzed case, the owner transferred the business to a family member, i.e. his son who successfully continued to develop the business. Successful transition of business in analyzed case is the result of timely preparation, as well as the awareness of the founder that such a process is not simple at all and brings many challenges and obstacles.
