Abstract
U današnje vrijeme, sve veća važnost se pridodaje radu neprofitnih organizacija. Njihova je svrha pružanje podrške i rješavanje društvenih problema kada državna tijela i institucije nemaju resursa za rješavanje istih. Stoga, one se ne osnivaju s ciljem ostvarivanja profita već kako bi se efikasno riješili problemi u društvu. S obzirom na sve veću važnost rada u neprofitnim organizacijama, ovaj rad istražuje čimbenici koji utječu na zadovoljstva zaposlenika u neprofitnom sektoru. Zadovoljstvo zaposlenika u neprofitnim organizacijama ima značajan utjecaj na motivaciju zaposlenika i njihovu produktivnost, što na kraju rezultira postizanjem ciljeva i rezultata organizacije. Neki od čimbenika koji pridonose visokom zadovoljstvu poslom kod zaposlenika su radni uvjeti u kojima zaposlenik radi, intelektualno izazovan rad, podrška kolega i ravnopravno nagrađivanje. Tijekom vremena, istraživači su razvili različite teorije motivacije koje su uvelike primjenjive i u upravljanju neprofitnim organizacijama. U današnje se vrijeme sve veći naglasak stavlja na motivatore poput karakteristika posla, pohvale i priznanja za obavljeni posao, prilike za promaknuća, rast i razvoj. Unatoč motivaciji, neprofitne se organizacije suočavaju s izazovom fluktuacije zaposlenika, situacijama u kojima zaposlenici napuštaju radno mjesto. Neki od ostalih izazova su osiguravanje stabilnog financiranja, upravljanje volonterima i izgradnja dugoročnih partnerstava. Izazovi na radnom mjesto utječu na pojavu stresa kod zaposlenika. Ovaj rad se rubno dotiče i pitanja kako se zaposlenici u neprofitnim organizacijama nose sa stresom te kako ga rješavaju.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays, increasing importance is attached to the work of non-profit organizations. Their purpose is to provide support and solve political and social problems when state bodies and institutions do not have the resources to solve them. Therefore, they are not established with the aim of making a profit, but to efficiently solve problems in society. Considering the increasing importance of work in non-profit organizations, this paper investigates which factors influence employee satisfaction in the non-profit sector. Employee satisfaction in non-profit organizations has a significant impact on employee motivation and productivity, which ultimately results in the achievement of organizational goals and results. Some of the factors that contribute to high job satisfaction among employees are working conditions, intellectually challenging work, support from colleagues and equal remuneration. Over time, researchers have developed various theories of motivation that are largely applicable to the nonprofit sector as well. Nowadays, more and more emphasis is placed on motivators such as interesting work, praise and recognition for work done, opportunities for promotions, growth and development. Despite the motivation, non-profit organizations face the challenge of employee turnover, situations in which employees leave the workplace. Some of the other challenges are securing stable funding, managing volunteers and building long-term partnerships. Challenges in the workplace affect the occurrence of stress in employees. This paper also explores how non-profit organizations deal with stress.
