Abstract | Upravljanje sukobima u organizaciji predstavlja jednu od kompetencija svake organizacije koja prolazi kroz sukob. Svrha rada je predočiti glavne čimbenike sukoba, što je sukob sam po sebi, kroz koje faze prolazi te zašto do sukoba uopće i dolazi. Mogućnost pojave sukoba ovisi i o broju sudionika, pa se tako dijeli na nekoliko vrsta. Budućnost organizacije može ovisiti o ishodu sukoba, stoga je jako važno znanje koje se primjenjuje u upravljanju sukobima. Cilj rada je detaljnije razraditi koji su to stilovi upravljanja koji se mogu koristiti te koju vrstu stila je najpoželjnije koristiti u određenoj situaciji. Kao teorijska podloga ovog rada, korišteni su izvori iz raznih literatura, što okuplja nacionalnu i svjetsku literaturu. Stručni članci, knjige, časopisi i web stranice temeljni su izvori korišteni u ovom radu. Ishodi sukoba vode u pozitivnom ili negativnom smjeru, ovisno o situaciji i o upravljanju sukobom. Rad prikazuje koje su to pozitivne posljedice, poput poboljšanja kvalitete donesenih odluka, bolja prilagodba promjenama i druge, te koje su to negativne posljedice poput nezadovoljstva, manja radna uspješnost, loša komunikacija i druge. Prednost ovog rada očituje se u sveobuhvatnom opisivanju i analiziranju svake stavke koja je vezana uz sukob kroz koji organizacija prolazi, te pomaže u razumijevanju svakog stila koji se koristi u upravljanju sukobom. |
Abstract (english) | Conflict management in an organization represents one of the competencies of every organization experiencing conflict. The purpose of this paper is to present the main factors of conflict, what conflict itself is, the stages it goes through, and why conflicts occur in the first place. The likelihood of conflict also depends on the number of participants, thus it is categorized into several types. The future of an organization can depend on the outcome of a conflict, making the knowledge applied in conflict management crucial. The aim of this paper is to elaborate on the management styles that can be used and to determine which style is most desirable in a given situation. As a theoretical foundation, this paper utilizes sources from various literatures, encompassing both national and international works. Professional articles, books, journals, and websites are the primary sources used in this paper. The outcomes of conflicts can lead in a positive or negative direction, depending on the situation and conflict management. The paper demonstrates the positive consequences, such as improved decision-making quality, better adaptation to changes, and others, as well as the negative consequences, such as dissatisfaction, lower work performance, poor communication, and others. The advantage of this paper lies in its comprehensive description and analysis of every aspect related to the conflict an organization goes through, helping to understand each style used in conflict management. |
