Abstract
Analiza varijance (ANOVA) vrijedan je alat pri statističkom analiziranju skupa podataka koja utvrđuje postoji li statistički značajna razlika između srednjih vrijednosti promatranih populacija, a u ovom slučaju između pokazatelja profitabilnosti poduzeća prema različitim regijama u Hrvatskoj. Profitabilnost poduzeća se mjeri pokazateljima rentabilnosti imovine, rentabilnosti vlastitog kapitala, marže profita, zadržane dobiti u odnosu na imovinu kao i odnosu obveza poduzeća i EBITDA-e. Izrada rada uključuje korištenje statističkih metoda za obradu podataka poput deskriptivne statistike te korištenje ANOVA-e. Ovaj diplomski rad sadrži teorijsku podlogu i primjenu ANOVA-e u analizi pokazatelja profitabilnosti poduzeća pet regija Hrvatske, a to su Središnja Hrvatska, Istočna Hrvatska, Gorska Hrvatska, Sjeverna hrvatska obala i Južna hrvatska obala te interpretaciju i objašnjenje dobivenih rezultata. Sve navedeno ima svrhu lakšeg i boljeg razumijevanja odnosa profitabilnosti poduzeća između regija Hrvatske. Pri izradi rada korišten je softverski alat Statistica 14.1.0.
Abstract (english)
The analysis of the variance is a valuable tool in the statistical analysis of a data set which determines whether there is a statistically significant difference between the average values of the observed populations, and in this case between the profitability indicators of the enterprises according to the different regions in Croatia. The profitability of the company is measured by indicators of profitability of assets, profitability of own capital, profit margin, retained earnings in relation to assets, as well as the ratio of company liabilities to EBITDA. The creation of the paper includes the use of statistical methods for data processing such as descriptive statistics and the use of ANOVA (analysis of variance). This graduate thesis contains the theoretical basis and the application of variance analysis with the aim of approximating the relationship of profitability indicators of companies located in one of the five regions of Croatia, namely Central Croatia, Eastern Croatia, Mountain Croatia, the Northern Croatian coast and the Southern Croatian coast, as well as an interpretation and explanation obtained results. All this with the purpose of easier and better understanding of the profitability of companies between the regions of Croatia. The software tool Statistica 14.1.0 was used to create the paper.
