Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad odgovora na pitanja koja su u vezi s internacionalizacijom maloprodaje. To je proces kojim se maloprodajno poduzeće uključuje u međunarodne gospodarske tokove. Najprije se definiraju pojmovi logistike i distribucije te se dovode u vezu s trgovinom na malo koja potom postaje središnjom temom ovoga rada. Potom se prikazuje razvoj maloprodaje tijekom godina, a nakon toga definira se i pobliže objašnjava internacionalizacija maloprodaje. Svaka poslovna aktivnost ima svoje prednosti i nedostatke pa tako i internacionalizacija maloprodaje te će tako oni biti nabrojani. Rad se zatim bavi internacionalizacijom hrvatskih maloprodajnih subjekata te kakve su šanse za njihovu daljnju internacionalizaciju. U praktičnom dijelu rada analizira se koji su strani maloprodavači na hrvatskome tržištu te koliki je njihov tržišni udio, nakon čega slijedi rasprava u kojoj se tematiziraju dobrobiti internacionalizacije maloprodaje te što hrvatski poslovni subjekti mogu naučiti iz primjera stranih maloprodavača.
Abstract (english)
This thesis answers the questions related to the internationalization of retail. It is the process by which a retail company is included in international economic flows. First of all, the concepts of logistics and distribution are defined and brought into connection with retail trade, which then becomes the central theme of this work. The development of retail over the years is then presented, and then the internationalization of retail is defined and explained in more detail. Every business activity has its advantages and disadvantages, including the internationalization of retail, and they will be listed. The paper then deals with the internationalization of Croatian retail entities and what are the chances for their further internationalization. The practical part of the paper analyzes which foreign retailers are on the Croatian market and what their market share is, followed by a discussion in which the benefits of the internationalization of retail are discussed and what Croatian business entities can learn from the example of foreign retailers.
