Abstract
Turizam je skup pojava i odnosa koji proizlaze iz putovanja i boravka posjetitelja nekog mjesta, ako s takvim boravkom nije povezana nikakva njihova gospodarska djelatnost i ako se tim boravkom ne zasniva stalno prebivalište. Turistička ponuda i kretanja se dijele na vrste i specifične oblike turizma. Vrste turizma su definirane određenim kriterijem dok su specifični oblici turizma, s druge strane obilježeni specifičnim turističkim motivom koji posjetitelje privlači da posjete točno određenu destinaciju, pr. sport i rekreacija – sportsko-rekreativni turizam. Specifični oblici turizma se orijentiraju na manje segmente turističkog tržišta, a pojavili su se kao suprotnost masovnom turizmu. Selektivni je turizam ekološki svjestan, socijalno odgovoran, kulturno izvoran, etički vrijednosan, tržišno konkurentan i ekonomski profitabilan. Motiv je ključni činitelj određivanja selektivnih turističkih vrsta, ali nije jedini. Najnovijim istraživanjima je utvrđena složenost njegove primjene i upozoravaju na oprez prilikom njegovog korištenja. Specifični oblici turizma su: kulturni turizam, zdravstveni turizam, eko turizam, ruralni (seoski) turizam, sportsko-rekreativni, nautički, socio-patološki, a u zadnje vrijeme pojavili su se i neki novi oblici selektivnog turizma kao što su: volonterski, svemirski, golf turizam i slično. Potražnja za specifičnim oblicima turizma kontinuirano raste te je potrebno što više ulagati u razvoj ovog segmenta turističke ponude.
Abstract (english)
Tourism is a set of phenomena and relations arising from the travel and visit a place, if with such a stay is not connected to any of their economic activities and if this area is not based permanent residence. Tourist offer and movement are divided into types and specific forms of tourism. The types of tourism are defined certain criteria while specific forms of tourism, on the other hand characterized by specific travel motive that attracts visitors to visit a specific destination, for example, sports and recreation - sports and recreational tourism. Specific forms of tourism are oriented to smaller segments of the tourism market, and appeared as opposed to mass tourism. Selective tourism is an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, culturally authentic, ethical valuable, market-competitive and economically profitable. The motive is the key factor determining the selective tourist types, but not the only one. The latest research has identified the complexity of its application and warn of caution in its use. Specific forms of tourism are: cultural tourism, health tourism, eco-tourism, rural (village) tourism, sports and recreation, nautical, socio-pathological, and recently appeared and some new forms of selective tourism such as: volunteer, space, golf tourism and the likewise. The demand for specific forms of tourism continued to rise and they need to invest more in the development of this segment of tourism.
